| The Opele chain is a binary divinatory tool used in Southwestern Nigeria by Yoruba Ifa priests. These specialized priests use the Opele as a consultation tool. The slave trade brought Ifa priests to areas throughout the West and Opele usage spread throughout Cuba, Ecuador, Puerto Rico and the United States. These opeles are handcrafted by a Nigerian Ifa priest and includes glass beads, authentic Opele and West African cherry seeds and semi-precious stone beads. |
