1278. Frank Taylor COWGILL
(10) was born in 1871 in Lexington,
Fayette County, Kentucky. He died in 1942 in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky.
He was buried in Lexington Cemetery. As a young businessman, he opened a retail
store. Later he became a salesman with Curry, Brown, and Snyder, a wholesale
grocery firm. He, along with a Mr. Brown and Mr. Bell, were later to establish
Brown, Bell and Cowgill, a wholesale grocery firm, which was located on the corner
of South Broadway and Vine Street.
In his later years, he worked with a wholesale dry goods firm in Louisville and
Lexington. He was a member of Woodland Christian Church.
He was married to
Pearl MORGAN. Frank Taylor COWGILL and Pearl MORGAN had
the following children:
