Life is Beautiful
The waves crash around the boat
The child sits, watching the birds
the world watches as they float
Life is beautiful and good.
She sits mourning the absence
of a good friend who has gone
Her friends talk her into sense
look at the beauty of life.
And all around people see
others living, struggling too
they're all watching you and me
To see what in the world we do.
Life is beautiful, gorgeous
no one can change that fact
they can't ever take it from us
no matter how bad they act
God has made a gorgeous world
sent us in to enjoy it
the flag of the nations unfurl'd
