Caged
I am trapped
An ever expanding spirit
Locked in a carefully measured cage
This body has so many faults
My spirt wants to soar
But the body is
too heavy.
It wants to sing!
But the voice cannot make a sound
It wants to run!
But the body will not begin
Locked.
In a cage of flesh
The spirit despairs horribly limited
Never able to achieve
it's own goal
it sinks
like a stone
into the depths of
disappointment.
