Chapter officers are nominated and elected by a majority vote of the central chapter membership during the August meeting. Positions nominated include Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Executive Board Representative and take affect in January of each calendar year. The position of Vice President is a two-year commitment, as the position of vice president evolves into the position of chapter president in the subsequent year of office. Election results are announced to entire state membership at the Indiana Environmental Health Association annual fall conference held in September.
