Algunos verbos en Ingles, a los cuales llamamos Verbos Estaticos o de No Accion, no se pueden usar en una forma continua (como el Presente Continuo o el Futuro Continuo).
Estos verbos normalmente describen un estado que dura pro algun tiempo y no es permanente.
Algunos verbos que cumplen esta funcion son: like, need, remember, wish, etc.
Por ejemplo:
I like to go to the Supermarket
I'm liking to go to the Supermarket
I remember I invited John to the party.
I'm remembering I invited John to the party.
Algunos verbos se pueden usar en forma Estatica o Dimanica, por ejemplo: be, think, have.
You are stupid. (es parte de tu personalidad)
You are being stupid. (en este momento, no usualmente)
I think that coffee is great (think se usa para dar una opinion)
What are you thinking about? (think se usa con el significado de "considerar")
I have a car. (have se usa para describir pertenencia, posecion)
I'm having a party. (hace se usa como parte de una exprecion) |
