Condemed by actions long before out time.
We toss in restless sleep afraid to face
The dawn. The hope of ages pass us by
And leave us reaching out for more to come.
We fear the future, leave behind the past.
And pray to someone no one eve knows.
Yet in those prayers we find that ageless hope.
Though none can see his face we feel his wrath.
And in his mercy find eternal life.
The world drifts by in different shades of grey
And in our time we find some peace of mind.
