IDEAs Accessibility Guide

From our own experience of going on holiday with people with a various needs, we found that the more information we had the better. A guide which laid out all the information in an easy to read format was invaluable.

This inspired us to create a guide for our own area to benefit not only visitors to our beautiful Isle but also local people who would like to make the most of living here.

The guide outlines the accessibility features and facilities available in places of interest, shops, bars and cafes on the Isles of Islay and Jura.

The guide was compiled by staff and Members at IDEAs with financial assistance from the MacRobert Trust. Grateful thanks to Second Year pupils at Islay High School who assisted with some of the research.
