PUPPY COMMENTS Teton River's Hard Core Hank x Snowdrift Cedar
Jan. 02Hello,
Heidi is her name...She is doing great. Heidi is going to be a good looking dog, and she is getting big.
I would guess she is over 30lbs and gaining fast. She has a great diposition and is very well behaved for a lab pup. When we get some good pictures I will send you one.Andy
1-29-02Hi Claire,
Got your note today. Have also been thinking of you and wondering if you might be interested in a quick up-date on one of your babies?
Sneaker, officially "Levi's Snake River Sneaker", is well; a whopping 35 lbs; eating like a horse; working hard on learning her manners, and in general chewing up anything she can get into her mouth. She made the trip to Colorado and home again in great shape, and was sleeping in her outdoor kennel within the week after our return.
She is a beautiful lab puppy and the favorite of our family. Sorry, no digital capabilities here, but will mail some photos which you may be able to scan onto your computer.
Here formal training includes sit; stay; (for a moment) come; and fetch. She is working well with the retreiving wings, and likes to chase her ball. She won't come onto the living room carpet when she is in the house, unless she thinks she can get away with it. Which she usually doesn't. We are all so thankful we found your ad! Sneaker is the Best!Jerry, Levi, and family
Jan. 02I just got some pictures developed and I had one picture I was going to send you.
She is doing really good. We did name her Goldie. We registered her as Leavell's Goldie, but we call her Goldie.
She sure is a sweet puppy, we sure enjoy her. I played fetch with her the other day. She did it perfect 3 times.
We went to the McCall Winter Carnival and saw a yellow lab puppy, that looked the same size as Goldie. This puppy was 5 months old, instead of 3 months old. She has grown so much. She loves to sleep on our Glider swing we have. I will try to get that picture in the mail soon, and when I get some better ones will send them also. Martha L.
10-21-02Claire,
Hello. I thought I would send you some photos and give an update on our puppy that we purchased from you this past spring. "Tug" is about to turn 6 months and he is growing everyday. Last trip to the vet was 3 weeks ago and he was 51 pounds. I would guess that he is somewhere around 55 pounds currently. I still cannot get over how good looking of a dog he is turning out to be. He has been retrieving dummies in the water for about 2 months and is getting much better at multiple retrieves. We had him out in the field last weekend and he had a blast running through a few coveys of quail. No problems with the guns. All in all, we could not be more pleased. He is a quiet dog who thrives on being a part of the family and doesn't chew on everything. His sister lives across town at my brother in law's house and name is "Daisy" she is doing just as well. Thanks and take care,Zach M
