| IDA Foundation Report Hydee Tubbs IDA Foundation Chair In the month of December, you received a mailing from the ADA foundation. Remember? You were provided with an opportunity to donate to the ADA Foundation Healthy Kids for Life Research Fund, which will provide the necessary resources to underwrite important clinical, social, and scientific research into understanding childhood obesity. You were also provided with an opportunity to help the foundation continue to provide scholarships. We�re talking about worthy causes and tax write-offs here! Well, if you �missed� the mailing, there is still a way to donate to the ADAF. At IDA�s annual meeting, you can participate in the silent auction by donating an item or planning to purchase an item. Individuals, regional dietetics groups, practice groups, and businesses are encouraged to donate an item. Another way to contribute to the ADAF is to purchase a 7.5 oz., pre-washed, soft, 100% cotton denim shirt with the IDA logo embroidered above the pocket. The shirts will be available to purchase at the annual meeting for $30.00. However, if you order a shirt before April 1, the cost is only $27.00! See enclosed order form.
