The Summer 2001 issue marks the first e-mail newsletter. Within the year, our vision is to have a print copy available by request only. The electric format has the potential to save IDA over $1000 annually. In addition, information can be shared in a more timely manner. But my Grand Plan will never happen without help. Amanda Peterson and Judi Schuermann have agreed to by my Associate Editors. Amanda will be concentrating on the information for Students and Retired members. She already has a great start on the Student Page! Judi will be focusing on issues related to Council on Professional Issues / Dietetic Practice groups. As of June 14th, I have e-mail addresses for 208 IDA members. I am still seeking addresses for 76 active, 13 retired and 30 affiliate members.
