| State Legislative Chair Report (Summer 2001) Hydee Tubbs * IDA is represented in the Coalition for a Healthy Idaho (CHI). * CHI�s goal is for the tobacco money (Millennium Fund) be spent on tobacco prevention first and foremost- and then on other health programs. * Contact your legislator for their support. As the State Legislative Chair, I represent IDA on the Coalition for a Healthy Idaho (CHI). CHI works to keep Idaho�s tobacco settlement money (now part of the Millennium Fund) for use in tobacco prevention programs. Throughout the year, I will be updating you on the activities of CHI and asking you to contact your legislators a lot, starting now! The following 20 legislators are the members of the 2002 Millennium Fund committee. They will probably meet in August or September and again in October or November to review programs and to recommend for funding for the fiscal year. CHI is asking that you call you legislator if s/he is on the list of if you know any of those on the list. If your legislator is NOT on the list, please call your legislator and ask them to relay your message to a member of the committee.
