icwJamesClashicw: ICW SHOOT INTERVIEW WITH SCURGE RUNIK AKA Finn begins NOW!
icwJamesClashicw: Thank you for joining me for what should be a hell of a talk.
ChaoticThrasher: Its a pleasure
icwJamesClashicw
: Now Finn. You and Jem have hada close relationship since you started here in ICW? Just about how that that come about and why has the relationship continued? What has he helped you with and vice versa?
ChaoticThrasher: Well I think after my victory over Jem which was where I became a someone instead of no one, we have been good friends, not sure why, just happened. He helped me become a bigger star, getting me pushes and elevating me, I have helped him by helping out wiht his character and stuff, basically if either of us need help in ICW we would ask each other, I even did a segment with Kip for one of his promos
icwJamesClashicw
: Rumor has it you did more than that for Jem. Rumor has it you wrote two whole promos for him. Any truth to this?
ChaoticThrasher: The truth about that rumor is between Jem and I, we helped each other out, that's all I will say, and who told you that?
icwJamesClashicw
: I do think it was Jem himself.
ChaoticThrasher: Well to correct you it was only one promo
icwJamesClashicw
: No punishment of Jem is needed. He lost that match anyways..... But that was a good promo.... Good job.... Regan and Lee Stone also have had a major impact on your career. Their US Tournament on Red Alert made you into a star.
icwJamesClashicw: But
ChaoticThrasher: But?
icwJamesClashicw
: At KOTC the two brothers pulled something that some may call a screw job.
icwJamesClashicw: Robbing you of a rightful win. And the World CHampionship. Something you are still fighting to get all these months later. Feelings?
icwJamesClashicw: bitter?
ChaoticThrasher: Well Regan and Lee gave me the win over Charisma, a former world champion, and they gave me the US title, this made me a star. I thank them for that. The KOTC controversey, well I don't feel at all bitter about that. I have the utmost respect for Lee Stone, and our match that night was epic. That was his time, he had been fighting for it for a while, he deserved that title and that's that. I had a great night that night anyway, one of the best matches against X-Treme, and my second US Title win,
icwJamesClashicw
: Fair enough.
icwJamesClashicw: You have a repution in the ICW world as being the nicest guy to fellow wrestlers. Is this something that comes naturally? Or is it something you aim for to make it?
ChaoticThrasher: I guess it's something that comes naturally. I mean what's the point at being an ass all the time? It only makes people hate you. I fidn that if I'm a nice guy generally I make friendships and I get further. I mean, the only guy that I ever really truly disliked in ICW was Shack. I aim to be nice, but it also comes naturally, it's just who I am
icwJamesClashicw
: maybe due to your great attitude.... As of late you have also become a leader among the wrestlers here in ICW. A real vet. How have you changed since being a rookie?
ChaoticThrasher: Well when I was Rookie, things were a lot different. No one had heard of me, no one paid attention to me. I guess I was trying to win peoples attention back then, trying to make people notice me. Trying to be famous. Since then I have become famous, I have become a big guy in ICW. Hell I'm number 1 contender, I am noticed. So now I guess I'm not working hard to win that attention. I'm just working hard to help ICW, to make it big, there is no other fed that can compare to ICW, so I want this place to succeed, and for it to succeed we cannot dwell on the old, we must look for the new, there is plenty of young and fresh talent just waiting to bust into the main event
icwJamesClashicw
: So very true. Great statement. You are a leader.
ChaoticThrasher: thank you, I try my best
icwJamesClashicw
: The man you have had the most matches with lately... X-Treme. What is your honest opinion of him?
ChaoticThrasher: X-Treme is a fine competitor, truly an innovator in the Extreme aspects of wrestling. When I go up against him the matches always get violent and we both seem to get the best out of each other. I have great respect for this man and he can put on a hell of show. He certainly is one of the best in the bussiness. My matches with him have been some of the best I have had, and I wish him the best of luck in his career here in ICW
icwJamesClashicw
: And as for Sudden Death. The man you face next month for the World Title. The man who put Charisma out of wrestling. The man who beat John Calvin Payne. The man who is in the middle of the longest title reign sinc eJCP. What is your opinion of him? By the way not to forget about X-Treme who also beat both Luscious Larry AND JCP. Sudden Death?
ChaoticThrasher: Sudden Death is certainly a talented wrestler, I ahve never beena fan of the bigger wrestlers, I like the smaller guys, but Sudden Death can put on one hell of a match. Sudden Death has proved that he can carry the weight of the world title, which many believed he couldnt do it. He is one of the leaders of the company, I have been in the ring a few times with Sudden Death, and each time I was tested, so see if I could keep up, I think he was too. He is a great competitor, and he is certainly helping to lead ICW into the next generation
icwJamesClashicw
: Your feelings on the whole Runik-Kay tag team angle? And the whole "tournament" that crowned you two as tag champs? Some people even quit ICW over it: Strix, Sane, Sabbath, Rik, JCP.
ChaoticThrasher: Well that angle was a different one, it certainly put me over as a skilled wrestler. Winning the tag team titles was great, because I love titles, but a lot of damage came from that angle, the loss of all that talent, but In my opinion those guys were just sour, I mean, I respect all those guys but leave because of it? Sure Strix and Sane's popularity was certainly dented from being pinned by KAydence, but the pins weren't clean, and it wasn't like they got their asses kicked by Kay. Overall I say that angle was not a bad one, I mean, if you can believe a one legged guy can beat a Giant, who's to say a 16 year old Girl teamed with a professional can;t win some matches?
icwJamesClashicw
: Good point..... You lost your ICW US Titlte, not in ICW but in GDW of all places. Due mostly to a really bad business descion by myself. At that moment, you must have had good things to say about that. GDW? How was the place? Be honest. The owner? Was he as censored as he seemed here at the ICW boards?
ChaoticThrasher: I enjoyed my time in GDW, it certainly wasn't ICW but it was still a good tiem none-the-less. One big difference between ICW and GDW was that in GDW everyone was so nice, they all liked each other, and it felt fake for some reason, it seemed they were all just acting nice and kissing ass to get ahead, yea yea I know I'ma nice guy but that's genuine, those people you could tell were fake, I mean, a fed with 35 wrestlers and no big OOC wars? Get real. I was kinda annoyed that I lost my US Title, I brought a lot of prestige to that title and now it's gone, which kina sucks, cause I would ahve loved to have seen the future of that title continue. The owner, well he was a nice guy, although he had some bad things to say about JCP, I don;t think they got along. But he seemed a good guy, but he talked ona more sorta bussiness level, never really got to know him, unlike you and I.
icwJamesClashicw
: Yes, the whole GDW Owner telling me to erase ICW ooc posts on the ICW OOC Board kinda soured me on the GDW. And yes it was TOO DAMN NICE there but maybe it was just us.
icwJamesClashicw: Hopefully you can do the same for the X-Air and maybe even World as you did for US?
icwJamesClashicw: let's hope.
icwJamesClashicw: Now, if ICW was to put out a best of Scurge Runik DVD, what would be on there?
ChaoticThrasher: Hmmmmm
ChaoticThrasher
: My first US Title win
ChaoticThrasher
: against Chairms and Mr E
ChaoticThrasher
: Charisma*
ChaoticThrasher
: My defence against Firestorm, JR and Mr.E, I loved fighting Firestomr, great guy
ChaoticThrasher
: The tiem I lost the belt to Hellhole, Hellhole is great.
ChaoticThrasher
: Mt KOTC match against X-Treme and the final against Lee Stone. I
ChaoticThrasher
: The match that had Charisma, You I and Strix against JCP, Johny Epic, Stu. E Price and Sudden Death
ChaoticThrasher
: a few itnerviews here and there
ChaoticThrasher
: and whatever else would fit
icwJamesClashicw
: Was there ever any point in ICW what almost drove you away? Anything that made you extremly mad?
ChaoticThrasher: Hmmmmm, I don't think I have ever wanted to leave ICW, at the start I was nobody, and that made me want to make it to somebody and I didn't want to give up, my climb to the top created a bond between ICW and I, so I don't think I have ever thought about leaving
icwJamesClashicw
: In your opinion, who else besides yourself is the best at perfomring promos here in ICW/ And what staffer from the whole time you been here was the best writer? Care to share the worst promo and worst writer too?
ChaoticThrasher: Well other guys who did great promos were the likes of Charisma, JCP, X-Treme, Rik Kendall Sudden Death. Another guy who I thought was Awesome was Shawn Temp, him and I got on very well, and his promos were great, too bad he dissappeared. Wildboy is another who could be the next big thing, he is a great rper. The best match writer? Undoubtedly you, Steven McGuire, when you try you do awesome. Worst promo would have to go to Shack, he did one line of talking that's not a promo, he didn;t entertain, he was useless. And the worst match writer? Would probably be me.
icwJamesClashicw
: How do you like the current product that ICW is putting out there?
icwJamesClashicw: And thank you kindly
ChaoticThrasher: The current product I am pleased with, we lost a lot of the big guys, but we are gettin the big guys back by nuturing our younger talent, I like that, this is a new generation, and we are giving the people something fresh, reminds me of a young ECW in some ways.
icwJamesClashicw
: have you ever thought about becoming a face again? Or do you like being a heel right now?
ChaoticThrasher: I remember walkign into the ring against You and Charisma, and I heard the fans roar by my side yelling their approval, loving me. There is nothing like that. It was grat being a face, a guy that everyone likes, and yes I have thought about becoming a face again. But then I remember all the fun I have as a heel, as a heel I can proclaim anything no matter how far fetched, I can poke fun at anyone and promos are easier cause I can act how I want without confusing people. I enjoy my Heel status, but one day I would like to go back to being a Face, although not in the near future
icwJamesClashicw
: Is the "sexual content" of the Kay-Charisma Angle too much for you or does it entertain you?
ChaoticThrasher: It's never been too much for me, although those rumors about urine kinda grossed me out. I enjoyed it, it has a Romeo and Juliet feel to it, the sweet innocent little girl and the experienced older guy. It also provides some hillarious backstage segments, especially when James Clash is involved, a lot of laughs have come from watching what unfolds in that angle
icwJamesClashicw
: I have lots of vans.... Thank you and I can't wait for the Runik Interview part 2 in the months to come. Any final words?
ChaoticThrasher: Yea, ICW Forever
icwJamesClashicw
: Thank you.
