***Tension builds in the Toronto Skydome as there is a ruckus around what is going to happen. We know that there are only two matches tonight with no titles on the line, otherwise, it is one big championship fest here in Canada.***
***What is going to happen, may be much a surprise to what the fans want to happen.***
***After a month of anticipation, it happens here tonight, John Payne will defend the ICW Championship against Shawn Temp. Already this match has classic written all over it.***
***Popular ICW Divas Celeste Parker and Eliza Dushku hope to make history as the first women’s team to hold the ICW Tag Team Championship.***
***All this and more, including the Pay-Per-View wrestling return of one of ICW’s all-time greatest. The Legend that is Luscious Larry as he takes on Nightmare Evil.***
***Pyros explode and ICW’s first PPV extravaganza of 2003 is live and on the air. Metallica’s “Fade To Black” plays in the background as we go over the arena with a panning camera and then straight to Matt Hayes and James Clash at the announce booth.***
Matt: What a night the ICW has planned.
Clash: What a night indeed, we’ve got five, yes FIVE, title matches here tonight.
Matt: That’s right, seven matches in all, and even the owner of this prestigious company steps into the ring against The Dragon.
Clash: I’m excited for that one. I can’t wait for you to see what I’m going to do to Rik tonight.
Matt: We’re going to have to wait and see. But first, let’s get going with the opening contest.
** The light's go out as Static-X's This is Not(Safety's off Mix) begins to ring throughout the arena. Suddenly a large Pyro Explosion goes off and X-Treme begins making his way to the ring. **
Chris Watts: Ladies and Gentlemen, Making his way to the ring. Hailing from Austin Minnesota, Standing 6 foot 1 inch tall and weighing in at 220 pounds. The Challenger, X-TREME!
** X-Treme quickly makes his way to the ring and climbs to the top rope facing his fans. He raises his arms over his head and the crowd goes reasonably nuts for the returning superstar. **
Matt: And here he is… The man who is taking on Hellhole for the ICW Television title, X-Treme!
Clash: I hope he kicks that retarded giants ass!
** The words Perfect Stable/Alliance of 5 appear on the ICWTron and Defaults “Wasting my Time” hits. Hellhole steps between the curtains to a rather loud cheer from the fans. He raises one arm in the air and pyro’s go off on the stage. **
Jae Chang: And his opponent, Making his way to the ring. He stands 7 feet 6 inches high and weighs 365 pounds. He hails from Cambridge, New Zealand… YOUR ICW Television Champion: HELLHOLE!
** The crowd goes nuts as Hellhole starts walking down to the ring. He gets to ringside and X-Treme flies over the ropes with a suicide dive. **
Matt: You gotta wonder why Hellhole is receiving such a good pop from the fans.
James: They don’t know what they are cheering for.
Matt: I personally think that he is more over now since he started helping Rik Kendell.
James: You do not say his name! I will kill you if you say his name!
Matt: Sorry boss.
** X-Treme gets off Hellhole and they both get to their feet. X-Treme goes to whip Hellhole but he counters with a Guerilla Press Slam and throws X-Treme into the ring. Hellhole climbs up the apron and steps over the ropes in traditional big-man style. **
DING! DING! DING!
Matt: And the opening bout for the first PPV of the new year is underway!
** X-Treme nails a dropkick to Hellhole’s mid-section. He follows up with a DDT. He bounces off the ropes and nails a elbow drop to the big man’s chest. He pins Hellhole. **
1… 2… Kick out!
** The force of Hellhole’s kick out throws X-Treme off. Both men get up and Hellhole nails a big boot to X-Treme’s head. **
Matt: Wow! Hellhole didn’t have to lift his leg very high to nail X-Treme with that did he?
James: Shut up Matt or I’ll have you fired!
** Hellhole hits a sideslam on X-Treme. He picks him up but gets nailed in the gut. X-Treme knee’s Hellhole in the face. X-Treme his a snap suplex on Hellhole and rolls over into a pin. **
1… 2… Kick out!
Matt: That’s twice X-Treme has attempted to pin Hellhole compared to zero pin attempts from the reigning Champ.
** X-Treme starts punching Hellhole in the head. He keeps punching until Hellhole grabs him around the throat. He stops in his tracks. **
Clash: No!
Matt: Yes!
** Hellhole gets to his feet with his hand still around X-Treme’s throat. He goes for the Hell’s Chokeslam. **
Matt: Is this it?!
** X-Treme hits a last minute move by kicking Hellhole in the nuts. Hellhole bends over in pain and X-Treme goes for a fame-asser. Hellhole stands up, lifting X-Treme with him and nails the MotherFucker Powerbomb on him. **
Matt: There’s the finishing move!
** Hellhole pins X-Treme. **
1… 2… Thre…
** X-Treme kicks out and Hellhole cant believe his eyes. Hellhole picks X-Treme up and goes for another. **
Clash: Excellent… Now kick out of this one X-Treme!
** Hellhole drops X-Treme and he lands flat on the back of his neck. He bounces up and falls onto his face. **
Matt: Oh! That looked like it hurt a lot more than it should’ve!
Clash: Noooooo!
** Hellhole seems satisfied with that second MotherFucker Powerbomb and pins X-Treme. **
1… 2… 3!
DING! DING! DING!
James: Damn him!
** Hellhole gets up raises his arm to the crowds approval as the referee fits the Television title around his waist. X-Treme gets to his feet holding his neck and approaches Hellhole from behind. The two shake hands before leaving to the back. **
***At this time Clash heads in back too to prepare for his match later in the night. In his stead is Tim Malcolm.***
Matt: Wow! What action, what a title defense.
Tim: X-Treme came up just a little short here tonight.
Matt: We always say that anything can happen in the ICW. Same goes for these matches.
Tim: And that was only the first match of the night. Up next is a match brewing over of animosity between the two.
Matt: Aerial Prodigy going against The Ghost for the Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
Tim: Can you believe this match?
Matt: I don’t know, there’s two separate stipulations. The first being an Iron Man match.
Tim: Excitement all its own.
Matt: But it’s the other piece that has at least one man worried.
Tim: Ah, the part about the loser getting unmasked.
Matt: That’s the one. Now, let’s go to the ring.
(For time reasons I’m going to skip their intros and go right for the match)
***Prodigy starts off strong with a plancha over the top rope landing on the Ghost, the then rolls the Jr. Heavyweight Champion into the ring. The bell rings and the match is under way for thirty minutes.***
***Prodigy quickly capitalizes on The Ghost’s being down in the ring and uses the top rope as a catapult and uses that momentum to hit a tornado DDT on Ghost. Prodigy goes for a quick pin, but only gets a one count. Not really worth mentioning.***
Matt: Fast and furious thus far.
Tim: A lot of animosity between the two of them. And look at this, Prodigy is so confident of his win that he’s going for Ghost’s mask.
***Prodigy tries to take off Ghost’s mask, but Ghost is able to bat him away. Prodigy then uses the mask as a hold and nails a spinning neck breaker on Ghost.***
***Prodigy gets up and helps Ghost up and sends him to the corner. Prodigy runs in for a dropkick or something close, but Ghost counters and send Prodigy over the top rope. But Prodigy was prepared and lands easily on the ring apron, he then uses the Ghost’s mask to his advantage and throws him to the mat.***
***Jumping to the top rope again, Prodigy goes for a springboard moonsault and into a pin. He gets a two count, and then the two men are up again ready to go. Prodigy sends Ghost into the ropes, and misses with a spinning wheel kick, and Ghost comes off the ropes and hits a rising Prodigy with a shining whizzer kick.***
Matt: What a move right there.
Tim: These two aren’t pulling any punches.
Matt: They’ve had quite the rivalry going into this, and just last month Prodigy was the champion defending against Ghost at Ride or Die.
Tim: And now the tables have turned.
Matt: Once again, because Ghost beat Prodigy originally at the Fly Like an Eagle Tournament.
Tim: I almost forgot about that. And then Prodigy pulled out a win on Primetime.
Matt: And just about a week or so ago, Ghost won the title back off of Prodigy.
Tim: Just amazing that these two are still impressing all of us.
***Ghost climbs to the top rope and positions himself as Prodigy gets up and then leaps, but whether by luck or intuition, Prodigy jumps with a dropkick and takes away Ghost’s momentum. With the Champion down, Prodigy climbs to the top himself and then leaps off with the One Winged Angel.***
Matt: Prodigy now with the cover after his One Winged Angel.
Tim: Is it enough to get the first pin of the match?
***The ref drops for the count.***
1 . . . !
2 . . . !
3 . . . !
***At this point the second ICWtron displays the scorecard for the match.***
Score Card:
Matt: First fall goes to Prodigy, and we’ve got about twenty minutes left in the match.
Tim: Let’s hope that Prodigy can hold on to this lead. I wonder, did you hear what happens if there’s a tie at the end of the thirty minutes?
Matt: I believe that I heard there’s going to be a sudden death overtime.
Tim: Not Sudden Death.
Matt: No, not Sudden Death, a sudden death overtime. First one to gain a fall will win after that.
Tim: Whew! I don’t want to see that monster out here more than necessary.
Matt: I have to agree with you there.
***Ghost after the fall slid out of the ring and is trying to regain his bearings, but Prodigy keeps trying to pull him back in. Eventually though, Prodigy gives up and goes out after him.***
***Prodigy throws Ghost back in the ring, and starts getting back in the ring himself, but is dropkicked into the barricade by Ghost. Ghost then jumps over the top rope, turns towards the ring, and uses the ropes to propel himself with an Asaii Moonsault on to Prodigy.***
***This time it is Ghost’s turn to throw Prodigy back into the ring. Prodigy tries for the same dropkick move that Ghost used, but Ghost was ready for it as he moves out of the way.***
***Prodigy hits the ropes and lands on the mat. Ghost waits for him to get up before catapulting himself off of the top rope and going for a sunset flip. He gets Prodigy over, and gets a two before Prodigy manages to reverse into a pin.***
***Another two count, and Ghost reverses to another pin. Not even a one count before Prodigy reverses again, and then the pinning predicaments are broken as both men get to their feet to a resounding amount of cheers from the crowd.***
Matt: What a series right there, and we’ve still got fifteen minutes to go in this match with Prodigy in the lead at the moment.
Tim: And like you’ve said, that can change in the blink of an eye.
Matt: I wouldn’t count either of these two down until the final bell.
***Both men turn and listen to the crowd and then lock up. Prodigy gets the upper hand and starts to twist Ghost’s arm, but Ghost reverses and then locks fingers with Prodigy. He then climbs, or rather jumps, to the top rope, and comes away with a spinning head scissor take down.***
***Ghost then goes to the top again and hits a split-legged moonsault on Prodigy that gives him the tying fall of the match.***
Score Card: Tim: And that ties things up here.
Matt: You know, both men made a small mistake and it ended up with each of them losing a fall here.
***Ghost looks to be slightly worn out, as does Aerial Prodigy. But they both get up and continue the match, now with one fall apiece they start being more cautious with what moves they do to the other.***
***Ghost sends Prodigy to the ropes and leaps up for a huricanranna. But Prodigy was ready and turns it into a power bomb, and then turns it into a pin, but Ghost kicks out at two.***
Matt: If you notice Tim, these falls are getting closer and closer to becoming a three count.
Tim: I have, these Iron Man Matches tend to wear out both men before the end.
Matt: And there’s about thirteen minutes of action left for these two.
Tim: Best idea in this would be to take out a limb and focus there, trying to get a tap out from the continued working on the limb.
Matt: But will they think of that?
Tim: Maybe, look.
***Prodigy comes off the ropes after Ghost misses a spinning elbow and then hits a low dropkick to Ghost’s leg. The Ghost obviously goes down and clutches at his leg. Prodigy then grab the leg and drops a series of elbows onto it before tying it up in a leg grapevine.***
***Ghost tries to battle out of it, but every time he tries, Prodigy tightens the hold or changes the hold just slightly. Ghost eventually gives up on that and starts working his way to the ropes.***
***It takes him a while before he makes it, and then the ref makes Prodigy break the hold. But Prodigy holds onto the leg, turns out to be a mistake as Ghost drills him with an Enziguri kick.***
Matt: What a kick from Ghost there.
Tim: Two of the greatest Jr. Heavyweight’s in the business today.
Matt: I think it’s a shame that both men can’t be champion.
Tim: Now wouldn’t that be controversial?
Matt: ICW’s froth with it though.
Tim: Too true.
Matt: We’re looking about nine or ten minutes left in this match now.
Tim: And these two are, like I said, pulling out all the stops.
Matt: They have to, it’s crunch time.
***Ghost goes for another split-legged moonsault, but Prodigy moves out of the way and locks on a reverse head lock. Ghost makes it to his feet and tries to fight out of it. He goes for a back drop, but Prodigy manages to counter into a hip toss like move. Partly thanking the work he’s done on Ghost’s leg.***
***Prodigy holds him there, and then the Ghost starts working his way up again. He sends the challenger to the ropes and leap frogs over, but the leg that Prodigy had been working on gives out. Prodigy capitalizes and goes right for another pin, but Ghost kicks out before the three count.***
Tim: I don’t know if I can take one more close count.
Matt: Patience, we’ve only got seven minutes left to this match.
***Prodigy takes Ghost to the corner and sets him up for another tornado DDT, but Ghost was ready and throws Prodigy across the ring and then hits a running neck breaker on him when he gets up.***
***Ghost quickly goes for the cover and gets another two count. Six minutes left in the match.***
***Both men get to their feet, and start dodging kicks and forearm shots from the other. But eventually Prodigy gets the better and moves Ghost to the corner. He then Irish Whips the Champion to the opposite corner and follows in. Prodigy jumps onto Ghost and comes away with a monkey flip.***
***Prodigy quickly moves in for a cover. He gets a three count, but the ref after making the three count realizes that Ghost’s foot was on the bottom rope. Five minutes left.***
Matt: Good ring presence by Ghost.
Tim: Good for him, but bad for Prodigy. That cost him the fall right there.
Matt: Meaning that we’re still tied in this Iron Man match for the Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
Tim: Don’t forget that’s not all that’s on the line.
Matt: How could I with what Prodigy’s doing right now?
***In the ring, Prodigy is once again going after the mask of Ghost. But Ghost counter acts with a jaw breaker. Ghost then climbs up to the top rope.***
Tim: What is Ghost going to do here?
Matt: It almost looks . . . No, make that he IS going for Prodigy’s One Winged Angel move.
***Ghost goes flying with Prodigy’s move, but Prodigy moves away at the last possible instant. This leaves the Ghost to crash down on the mat. Prodigy moves right in for a pin.***
1 . . . !
2 . . . !
3 . . . !
Score card: ***Prodigy goes for another cover right away, but Ghost kicks out at two. Prodigy picks up Ghost for a snap suplex, but Ghost counters with a small package on Prodigy.***
1 . . . !
2 . . . !
3 . . . !
Score card: Matt: Some one needs to get another pinfall, otherwise these two are going to be making one last fall in sudden death.
Tim: And it could be six hours, two and a half hours, sixty seconds, or even three minutes.
Matt: Careful, we could get sued for that.
***Four minutes remain.***
***Prodigy goes on the attack after losing a surprise fall like that and chop blocks the leg that he somewhat injured earlier in the match. The Ghost goes down in a crumble, and the Prodigy once again grapevines the leg.***
Matt: Smart thinking again here on Prodigy’s part.
Tim: But what’s going through his mind right now?
Matt: Revenge and winning back his title mostly is my guess.
***Prodigy cinches in the hold and plants himself in the ring. The Ghost tries valiantly to get out, but the effort leaves him even more tired. But he does not tap, just tries to get to the ropes. However, at one point he almost gives up and lays himself flat on the mat.***
***The ref goes for a pin, but as soon as the ref’s hand hits the second time, the Ghost practically leaps off the mat. Two and a half minutes remain.***
***Ghost then starts punching away at Prodigy to make him break the hold.***
Matt: Down to the wire now, as you can see by the countdown on the ICWtron.
Tim: And these two have dropped to more of a mat style since the beginning of the match.
Matt: We’ve said how these Iron Man Matches run the competitors into the ground.
Tim: With just a minute left we’ve got a tie in the fall department.
***Ghost gets out of the leg grapevine, and stumbles to his feet, trying not to put too much pressure on the one leg. Prodigy goes and hit’s a running neck breaker on Ghost, and goes for the pin which Ghost just barely kicks out of.***
***Prodigy then picks Ghost up and gets him in the corner with thirty seconds remaining.***
***Prodigy sets Ghost up for a monkey flip, and succeeds, but Ghost flips out of it. He lands with most of his weight on his bad leg, and stumbles forward into the other corner. Prodigy follows in with a giant splash in the corner when . . .***
DING! DING! DING!
***The ref then goes and talks to ring announcer Chris Watts.***
Watts: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has informed me that since the fall count in this Iron Man Match is tied at the end of the thirty minute time limit, this match will continue in sudden death overtime. First to gain a pinfall or submission will be declared the winner.
Matt: This is what both men feared.
Tim: And the ref has called for the bell to start the overtime.
Matt: Basically now this is one fall to a finish.
***Prodigy is trying to argue his point with the ref, and does not notice Ghost sneaking up from behind and rolling him up with a school boy. The ref then drops and makes the final three count of the match.***
Tim: That’s it, Ghost has won the match, and kept both the Jr. Heavyweight Title, and his mask.
Matt: Prodigy’s not going to be happy tomorrow.
Tim: Tomorrow? He’s not going to be happy when he gets up. That mask was a sign of respect to his teachers.
Matt: But what a match, down to sudden death overtime to determine the winner.
Tim: I have to say, ICW Match of the Year Candidate that was.
Matt: And we’re no where near done.
Tim: But then are we ever?
Matt: No we’re not. And next we’ve got the finals to the United States Title tournament.
Tim: To top all of it off, it’s a tournament froth with controversy. Let’s take a look.
***The video montage concludes and we go to the ring.***
** Scurge’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to cheers from most of the crowd. He slaps hands with a few of them as he makes his way to the ring. He slides under the ropes and poses to the crowd for a bit. **
Matt: And here is the last man that anyone expected to be here. And he has gained a hell of a lot of fans in doing so… Scurge Runik!
** The Phantom of the opera theme hits and Charisma steps out from behind the curtains with Kaydence Clash on his arm. His other arm is out as if trying to hug the uproar of cheers he is receiving from the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring. **
Matt: And here is his first opponent… The man who has had more shots at the US title than anyone else. Mr. Charisma!
** Charisma steps through the ropes but before he can get completely through, the arena goes pitch black. “Liberate” by Disturbed hits and a single spotlight searches the arena. It darts around in time to the music and stops on the rafters. Mr. E dives off the rafters and sails to the ring with the spotlight following him during his decent. He unclips himself when he reaches ringside and takes off his coat. He steps into the ring and the lights come back on. **
Tim: And here is the man who surprised everyone by defeating Mr. Charisma about a month ago and is now sort of the US Champion.
Matt: Sort of being the word. And no offense against him because he could probably kick my ass but I don’t think he is gonna be able to keep the title after tonight.
Tim: You may be right.
** Charisma, Mr. E and Scurge all stand in separate corners. All aware of each other. The referee rings the bell. **
DING! DING! DING!
** Scurge approaches Charisma, who swats him away like a fly. Mr. E nails a roundhouse kick to Charisma. Charisma falls to one knee. Scurge hits a bulldog on him and Mr. E hits a dropkick on Scurge. Charisma gets up and spears Mr. E to the ground. He gets Mr. E in a leglock that Scurge quickly breaks. Charisma socks Scurge right in the jaw and goes back to the leglock. **
Matt: Lots of moves in the early going. This could be a fast paced match.
** Mr. E kicks Charisma away and goes for a suplex. Charisma kicks him but then Scurge helps Mr. E. **
Tim: A double suplex from Scurge and Mr. E!
** Scurge and Mr. E bounce off of opposite ropes. Scurge comes in a hits a leg drop across Charisma’s face but Mr. E doesn’t follow. The camrea pans around and we see Spike West and Kevin Randleman - who have obviously snuck in through the crowd - pummeling Mr. E Opponent at ringside. Mr. E is doing his best to fight back as they fight up the aisle and backstage. **
Matt: What are THOSE two doing here?!
Tim: Who cares, as long as Mr. E is gone.
** Scurge pins Charisma. **
1… 2… Kick out!
** Charisma gets to his feet and clotheslines Scurge. He picks him up and goes for a powerslam. He pins Scurge. **
1… 2… Kick out!
** Charisma looks over to ringside where the US title belt sits in a glass case. Desire burns in his eyes and he goes berserk on Scurge. **
Tim: Look at him go! He is not gonna let up until he gets this title back!
Matt: I wouldn’t be too sure about that. Remember what Mr. E said in one of his promo’s. 3 strikes your out. This is Charisma’s third strike.
** Charisma hits suplex after suplex, punch after punch, kick after kick on Scurge but Scurge refuses to stay down. **
Tim: There is only one thing that Charisma hasn’t down now!
Matt: What’s that?
Tim: Pin him.
** As if he heard what Tim said. Charisma goes to pin Scurge. **
1… 2… Easy Escape!
Tim: What the hell is up with this guy?! He seems to be a lot better than he has been.
Matt: He’s in the finals of the US title tournament! He is going all out!
** Scurge whips Charisma into the ropes. Charisma ducks the clothesline and then goes to clothesline Scurge. Scurge ducks and kicks Charisma in the gut. Scurge hits a massive DDT on Charisma. He picks him up and hits another DDT. He picks him up again but Charisma uppercuts him in the nuts. Scurges mouth drops open and he collapses to the ground. Charisma gets him in the Ovation DDT but Scurge counters with a Northern Lights Suplex. He climbs the turnbuckle. **
Tim: It could all be over now!
** Scurge leaps off the turnbuckle with the “Runik Tribute” but Charisma rolls out of the way and Scurge lands hard. Charisma rolls on top of Scurge and pins him. **
1… 2… ThreKickout!
** Charisma picks himself up and Scurge gets up aswell. Charisma goes for the Ovation DDT and Scurges head goes straight into the mat. He pins him. **
1… 2… ThreKickout!
Tim: This is IMPOSSIBLE! Nobody can kick out of a finisher!
Matt: Scurge’s resilience is amazing.
** Charisma gets Scurge up again and goes for a second Ovation DDT. Scurge pushes him away and when Charisma bounces back, Scurge hits a dropkick on him. Scurge follows up with a Piledriver. He climbs the turnbuckle again and hits the… **
Matt: RUNIK TRIBUTE!
** Scurge lands on top of Charisma and pins him. **
1… 2… 3!
DING! DING! DING!
Matt: Runik wins! Runik wins! He is the new ICW United States Champion! What a match! And What a winner!
** Scurge celebrates and the crowd is going absolutely crazy. That was a huge upset. And as Scurge celebrates on the turnbuckle, the lights start flickering on and off in time with a beat that is playing out over the speakers. Some recognize it, but most don’t. It’s been over a month since they’ve heard this. Lyrics then start and the crowd realizes who is coming out. **
“TELL ME EXACTLY, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
** Pyros explode and “The Game” by Disturbed continues to play. Another set of pyros explode soon after, and in their wake is former US champion, Lee Stone. The crowd is cheering, they’re happy to see Lee again. In Lee’s hand he has a steel chair, he races down to the ring and cracks Scurge Runik over the head with it. He then turns to Charisma and repeatedly nails him with it. Charisma slides out of the ring.
Matt: I think Charisma wouldn’t mind taking on Lee, if Lee didn’t have the chair.
** Lee turns back to Scurge and once again cracks the chair over his head. Scurge manages to roll out of the ring to avoid any more damage, but the US title is still in the ring. Lee picks it up and raises it above his head. The crowd is giving Lee a mixed reaction, he just took out Mr. Charisma, who has a large fan base, and also Scurge Runik, who has opened many eyes, and gained many fans. Lee throws Scurge his belt and then gets a microphone. **
Lee: Scurge, keep it while you can. That’s MY belt, and I want it back.
Matt: Big time challenge here by Lee Stone.
Tim: Finally making his return to the ICW. But that’s not all with the end of this match.
Matt: No, it’s not. This is a big win for Runik.
Tim: But will Rik be able to follow up with a big win over the owner of the company?
Matt: I don’t know, but I will say this, it’s about to happen next.
***”This Is Radio Clash” blares from the sound system and the crowd erupts in boos. James Clash then steps out from behind the curtain with his entourage. They walk to the ring very, very cockily and climb into the ring.***
***Clash looks around at Sudden Death, Spike West, Kevin Randleman, Nitro, and the chained Dark Wolf.***
Tim: Not good news for Rik. Clash has got his entire team out with him.
Matt: Nothing is in Rik’s favor tonight.
***Stroke 9’s “Kick Some Ass” hits and the crowd is on its feet as Rik Kendell makes his way to the ring. But he too, is not alone. Rik makes his way to the ring with his form of Team Toxic, Sen~or Mon~ey Baggs, Jamie K., Big Black Donnie Johnson, Just Charles, and surprisingly Tammy.***
Matt: I may have to stand corrected here, Rik has his own group to counteract Clash here.
Tim: Probably the best move he could have done.
***Rik runs to the ring, and slides right in and a melee ensues as Dark Wolf and Sudden Death block his way to Clash. Rik low blows Sudden Death, but is then grabbed and power slammed by Dark Wolf.***
***Clash then instructs Sudden Death to hit a choke slam on him. But he is unable to as Donnie Johnson has found a sledge hammer underneath the ring, and uses it on the big man’s knees.***
***Clash then orders the group to go after them. During this, Jamie K. has made his way over to the announce booth as the match officially starts.***
Matt: Well Tim, looks like we’re being joined by my former colleague Jamie K.
Jamie: Thank you, thank you. Only fitting that God’s Favourite Wrestler should have God’s Favourite Announcer to help call this match.
Tim: Spare us the infantile comments.
Jamie: I’m sorry Tim, Timmy? TIMMY? Hey, Timmy, where’s your wheelchair, and did they really kill Kenny?
Tim: How should I know?
***Clash goes right for a pin, but only gets a two count. Clash stays on the attack as he starts planting kicks to Rik’s back. Rik slowly gets up and Clash sends him to the ropes.***
***Clash misses with a clothesline attempt and Rik then gives Clash a dropkick, planting the owner on the mat. Rik tries to follow up, but Clash moves too fast for him and locks on a reverse headlock.***
Matt: Clash is old schooling Rik here.
Jamie: What do you mean? Rik is the king of old school. A real king of the ring.
Matt: Watch what you say, do you want us to get sued?
Jamie: Seeing as I don’t really work with you anymore, it doesn’t really matter.
***Rik manages to pick up Clash and drop him with a back drop. This time the two are up at about the same time and start trading blows. The Dragon eventually gets the upper hand and backs the owner to the corner.***
***A violent Irish Whip later and Clash is lying on his face in the ring. On the outside, extra referees have slightly regained control of the two groups and gotten them to opposite sides of the ring.***
***But the animosity between the two groups is at a boiling point and ready to explode.***
Tim: Jamie, looks like your fellow teammates are ready to go at a moment’s notice.
Jamie: “Go?” I hope you’re not thinking sick.
Matt: No, just you are.
***Rik locks on a sleeper hold on Clash, but Clash battles out of it and levels Rik with a clothesline. He goes for a pin, putting his feet up on the ropes. But the ref refuses to make the count and Clash starts arguing with him about it.***
Matt: Clash should realize that even though he’s the owner of the company he can’t break the rules.
Tim: Well, he had better watch out behind him.
***As Clash is arguing with the ref, the ref backs into the corner arguing back. Rik slowly gets up and charges Clash, splashing him and the ref in the corner.***
Matt: And there goes the ref. This can’t be good with Clash’s group and Team Toxic out here.
***And sure enough the two teams pile into the ring and start battling back and forth. Clash gets Sudden Death to single out on Rik as the rest of them go after Team Toxic. This time Sudden Death manages to choke slam the former ICW Champion hard into the mat.***
***As the two are gloating over what they have done Sudden Death gets hit by a chair shot to the back of the head. Sudden Death is barely phased from the move and pushes Donnie Johnson away. Clash nods to him and Sudden Death joins the foray with the rest of the two teams.***
***Spike West gets a “Super Punch” from Just Charles and goes down. Charles is celebrating in a way as Dark Wolf grabs him and starts choking him.***
***The match has turned more or less into a massacre at this point, with Team Toxic on the receiving end. All hope looks lost as Clash tries, without success to revive the ref. He gives up and then locks on The Sting to Rik.***
Matt: Once the ref wakes up this match is effectively over.
Jamie: Never, Rik will never tap.
Tim: It’s not a matter of tapping here, it’s a matter of Rik being conscious.
***But suddenly, like a shot in the dark, some new entrance music hits the arena. A sound not heard in a while, a matter of weeks, and the crowd is in shock as “Fuck Authority” is heard.***
***All action in the ring stops and Clash and his troupe watch the entrance way, waiting for the next surprise to make their way to the ring.***
***But he doesn’t come from the entrance ramp, he comes from the crowd and picks up the chair that Donnie Johnson dropped.***
Tim: Are my eyes deceiving me? Is that Justin Sane?
Matt: It is, and he’s headed right for Sudden Death with that chair.
***Sane winds up and nails Sudden Death over the back of the head, and the big man goes down. Everyone turns around at this, and Spike West charges Justin, but Justin side steps and send Spike hurtling over the top rope to the floor. The ICW Cult Icon then winds up the chair like it’s a baseball bat and cracks Dark Wolf over the head, effectively taking out the other big man in the match.***
***By now the chair is severely dented and Sane tosses it aside and hit’s a spear on Randleman that knocks him back into a corner. Now there is just James Clash left.***
Matt: Tim?
Tim: Yes Matt?
Matt: Can you believe that Jamie here is speechless?
Tim: Never thought I’d hear the day.
***Clash looks at Sane and laughs, but Sane is ready to attack. He grabs hold of Clash and hit’s a thunderous DDT right onto the chair. Sane looks around and sees Rik laying on the mat, he then takes Rik and places him on Clash’s chest. Then finally wakes the ref.***
***The ref then crawls over and makes the three count.***
***Jamie K. then leaves the announce position and goes to the ring.***
Matt: This is amazing, Rik has beaten the owner of the company.
Tim: In controversial fashion of course.
Matt: But Clash made it controversial in the first place.
Tim: True, but I’m still in shock, Justin Sane is back!
Matt: He’s made a statement here tonight. Just like his music, he’s just said “Fuck Authority.”
Tim: But is Rik going to be happy with a win like that?
Matt: From my experience I’d have to say no.
Tim: And there’s not much you say no to.
Matt: Unlike some competitors in our next match.
Tim: Ah, I take it you’re talking about Celeste and Eliza.
Matt: That I am, and a big congratulations goes out to Celeste and Archie.
Tim: For what?
Matt: Well, rumor has it that Archie popped the question and Celeste said “yes.”
Tim: That would explain the giant smile I saw on her face earlier today.
Chris Watts: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the ICW Tag Team Championship.
***The arena goes dark all of a sudden, and then you hear Eliza’s voice say “We’re Divas.” Followed by Celeste’s voice saying, “And We’re Dynamic.” Red and white strobe lights start going off with red and white glitter falling from the rafters as No Doubt’s “Hey Baby!” explodes from the arena’s sound system.***
Watts: Introducing first, the challengers, they are the Extreme and Women’s Champions respectively, Celeste and Eliza Dushku, the Dynamic Divas.
***Celeste and Eliza step out from behind the curtain to greet the crowd and get a huge response. The ICWtron shows several of their defining moments as a team, and some of their great singles moments. The two head down to the ring and then slide in simultaneously and go to opposite corners, Eliza poses for the crowd as Celeste throws out a rose to a fan.***
***The two get down and then slide back out and Celeste motions for Eliza to come over to where she is. Eliza does and we see that Celeste has found her good friend Heath Ledger in the crowd. Eliza shakes his hand and then the two divas climb back into the ring and await their opponents.***
Matt: I wonder what that was all about.
Tim: We’ll find out soon enough I think.
Matt: Right you are Tim, back to Chris Watts for the introduction of the champions.
***”Homies” by Insane Clown Posse plays and the crowd erupts again as Juggalo Nation steps from behind the curtain.***
Watts: Their opponents, they are the ICW Tag Team Champions, Firestorm and Mr. Bones, Juggalo Nation.
***The Juggalos head to the ring, giving high fives to some of the fans on their way. They climb into the ring, pose once more and then turn to face the Divas.***
***The ref takes the title belts, shows them to both teams, raises them high, and hands them to the time keeper.***
Matt: I’m expecting one great match here.
Tim: Same here, Eliza and Celeste have been on a roll in the tag team division lately.
Matt: But so have Juggalo Nation.
***Celeste and Firestorm start off in the ring with a handshake, and then lock up. Celeste manages to back Firestorm to the corner, but Firestorm reverses it around. For once in the history of ICW, we get a clean break. The two lock up again, and Firestorm locks on a headlock to which Celeste then sends him to the ropes.***
***Firestorm rebounds off, and ducks a clothesline, and then shoulder blocks Celeste down. Firestorm goes to the ropes again, and Celeste stays low, Firestorm jumps over Celeste, and Celeste then gets up. She leap frogs Firestorm and when he comes off the ropes she manages a monkey toss.***
Tim: Firestorm back up quickly and Celeste with a Japanese Arm Drag.
Matt: That’s not going to keep him down long.
Tim: No, it’s not. He’s back up again, and Celeste with another arm drag into an arm bar.
***Celeste holds the move and makes the tag to Eliza. Eliza comes in and grabs hold of Firestorm’s arm, she twists it a little more and then drops him with a crescent kick. Eliza follows up with a head lock. But Firestorm battles out of it and sends Eliza to the ropes.***
***Eliza hits a flying forearm shot that sends Firestorm to his corner, where he promptly makes the tag to Bones. Bones tackles Eliza into a neutral corner and then Irish Whips her to the opposite corner. Eliza reverses and Bones hits the corner. Eliza tries to follow up with a corner splash, but Bones moves out of the way.***
Tim: Too early in the match for a move like that.
Matt: But Celeste and Eliza have to pull out all the stops here. The tag titles are on the line.
***Bones waits for Eliza to turn around and then plants her with a bulldog. He goes for the pin, but barely gets a two count before Eliza kicks out. Bones locks up Eliza’s arm and pulls her to the corner. He then tags in Firestorm.***
***Firestorm kicks Eliza in the stomach as Bones gets out of the ring.***
Matt: And just like that, the momentum of this match has switched.
Tim: And in a moment the Divas can take it back.
***Firestorm sends Eliza to the ropes, Eliza bounces off and leaps over Firestorm attempting a back body drop. Eliza rebounds again, jumps and takes Firestorm down with a running head scissors. Eliza quickly goes for the cover.***
***She gets a one count before Bones comes in and breaks the count by pulling Eliza off. The ref goes and cautions Bones about not being the legal man in the match. Eliza in the meantime is trying to make a tag, but Firestorm cuts her off and snap suplexes her to the mat.***
***He then climbs to the top and waits for Eliza to get up. Once she does, he leaps off with a cross body, landing for a pin attempt. He gets a two count before Celeste kicks him in the back to break the count.***
Tim: And another two count in this match.
Matt: Nothing but back and forth action so far.
***The ref now cautions Celeste for getting involved without a tag. This allows Firestorm to bring Eliza into the Juggalo Nation corner, and he and Bones start a bit of double teaming. They wait for the ref to turn back and then make a tag.***
***Bones comes in and sends Eliza to the ropes, and plants her with a power slam. He goes for the cover, but Eliza kicks out. Bones picks Eliza up, and once again sends her to the ropes. Eliza ducks under two separate clothesline attempts and then the two clothesline each other.***
***The ref starts his ten count, and at about six, Bones is up on his feet and makes a tag to Firestorm. Eliza makes it to her knees and goes for a tag, but comes up short when Firestorm grabs her leg. Eliza hops for a moment trying to get the tag again, but when she can’t, she turns and hits an Enziguri to the back of Firestorm’s head.***
***Then Eliza makes the tag to Celeste. Celeste climbs in and hit’s a gordbuster suplex to Firestorm. She then sets Firestorm up on the top turnbuckle and delivers a super-plex to the co-holder of the tag team championship.***
***Celeste sends Firestorm to the ropes, and Bones makes a blind tag. Celeste hits an arm drag on Firestorm, and he deftly uses it to slide out of the ring. With Celeste paying attention to Firestorm, Bones takes advantage and hit’s a German Suplex on her, and then waits.***
Matt: Is Bones going for what I think he’s going for?
Tim: He might be, and . . . Yes, Rattle Ya Bones. I’d have to say this match is over.
***But it’s not, Eliza breaks the count and drags Celeste to their corner where she makes the tag. Eliza rushes Bones and knocks him back into the corner where she sets him up for a top rope hurricanranna, and hits it beautifully.***
***Firestorm climbs back into the ring and is met with a Faith Infusion from Eliza. Eliza then sets him up and climbs to the top rope.***
Tim: Are we going to see it?
Matt: If you’re talking about the Leap of Faith, I think you’re right.
***Eliza leaps, but Bones pulls Firestorm away at the last possible second. Eliza misses and hit’s the mat, and immediately you can tell something is not right with how she landed. Celeste comes over to her partner, but Eliza waves her off.***
***Eliza tries for another Faith Infusion on Firestorm, but he ducks under and nails her with The Skorch. In the same instant, Celeste levels Mr. Bones with a Celestial Lariat. Both Celeste and Firestorm go for the pin.***
***With Celeste and Firestorm covering the legal participant, the ref has no choice but to make the double pinfall count.***
1 . . . !
2 . . . !
***Mr. Bones gets his foot on the bottom rope.***
3 . . . !
Tim: Wow! What a match. Juggalo Nation just barely retains the title.
Matt: This was an amazing attempt by the Divas to win the tag titles, and boy was it close.
Tim: Hey, Matt.
Matt: Yes Tim.
Tim: I think something’s wrong.
Matt: What do you mean?
Tim: Take a look.
***In the ring Juggalo Nation, Celeste and the ref are hovering over Eliza. Something is obviously wrong once again as Eliza is in the same position as when she was pinned by Firestorm.***
Matt: We need medical attention out here now!
Tim: Folks, Eliza is still motionless in the ring.
Matt: Tim, I think something went wrong there, and I think I know where.
Tim: Where would that be?
Matt: Here, take a look at what happens when she goes for the Leap of Faith.
***A replay of Eliza climbing to the top rope and going for the Leap of Faith is shown in slow-motion. She tries for it on the prone figure of Firestorm, but Mr. Bones pulls his tag team partner out of the way. This makes for Eliza to miss hitting Firestorm, and landing awkwardly on the back of her head.***
***The replay scene switches and we see when Firestorm hits The Skorch on Eliza. In part of the screen you can see Celeste hit the Celestial Lariat on Mr. Bones.***
Matt: As close as I can tell, things started going downhill for Eliza after the Leap of Faith.
Tim: And insult to injury, The Skorch was just as problematic.
Matt: If not worse.
***EMT’s have come to the ring, and are carefully moving Eliza out of the ring and onto a stretcher. Fan and friend of Celeste, Heath Ledger, has been allowed over the barricade on the good word of Celeste, and is going up the ramp with everyone.***
***Juggalo Nation stayed out in the ring to make sure she is alright too, despite having been opponents just moments before. The EMTs get everyone to back away as they start wheeling the stretcher to the backstage area.***
Matt: We will try to keep everyone updated on Eliza’s condition, but right now, things do not look good.
Tim: Damn shame too.
Matt: Regardless, we’ve got to look forward.
Tim: I’m more worried about what Larry’s mindset is going to be after seeing his student take, possibly, a career ending injury.
