"The Legend, The Myth, The Man" An Interview w/ CraVin on the Howard Stern Show
Published February 20, 2002 By Gavin Haberlin
Howard: Well coming out now, is ex ICW World Champoion and ICW Legend.... CraVin!
<Howard begins to play "Stomp" by CraVing Theo and CraVin walks into the room wearing baggy jeans and a black leather jacket and under the jacket you can see him wearing a Social Chaos t-shirt.>
Howard: Well welcome to the show CraVin.
CraVin: Thank you for having me Howard!'
Howard: So I hear that International Championship Wrestling, is back in action once again.
CraVin: That is correct Howard, earlier this month peperations were gathering for one of the greatest feds to re-surface once again.
Howard: Well and I hear CraVin, that you're back with the ICW, am I correct on this?
CraVin: Yes you are, Howard, but I'm currently not wrestling for the company.  I'm sitting back and relaxing behind the scenes and calling the matches along with Jay Stephens and Gordon Crockett.
Howard: Well I notcied that you were comentating, instead of wrestlign these days.  Why did you choose to leave the wrestling behind and go to the comentating?
CraVin: Well, Howard, it's just really pointless at the moment, I mean I'm only 28 yet, I proved myself in ICE and I have proven myelf in ICW.  I wanted to become the World Champion in ICW and I did, I brought Social Chaos to ICW and we took care of business when needed.  I've seen great champions come and go and well, I've seen everything.  And currently at the moment, I want to be a loving husband and hopefully a great father too.
Howard: Well yeah, I once wanted that too, but you see where I am now?  Very nice isn't it?
CraVin: Howard, you got that life.  I mean your going out with one of the hottest chicks, you always have the chicks on your show and look at all the women that want you.
Howard: Yeah, that's why I divorced my wife.  Now that's what you got to do.  Don't get me wrong, Summer is a great women, especially she is the HOTTEST chick I have ever seen.  But you need to be free CraVin, cause there is women who want you too.  I know, cause I told them that you would be on the show today.
CraVin: Well Howard, I married and I'm very happy that I met Summer the way I did, I feel really lucky that someone as lovely as here, would be in my life forever.
Howard: Where did you two meet?
CraVin: ICE!  My very first wrestling fed, well I mean my first big fed.  I started off in ICE and got my ass handed to me every night, then soon I eventually began to make a name for myself.  The owner, Clinton Smith, hired Summer and he put her with me.  Now at the time I didn't want a valet walking to the ring with me, it wasn't what I wanted.  But Clinton thought it would get me over with the fans, so I went with it.  It started off as a job, but the more I was around with Summer, we began to talk more and then we eventually went out on a date.  After that date it changed from that point on.
Howard: Well it looks like you and her are made for each other.  I'm happy for the two of you.  But if your ever in New York again, you and I got to go to Scores!
CraVin: All right man, we'll just have to do that, hahaha.
<Howard is seen looking through some papers and then presses a button.>
Howard: Well we have a caller on the line, who would like to ask a question.
CraVin: Okay.
Howard: All right, Adam, what would you like to ask CraVin?
Adam: Well I was curious if we will ever see yourself again in the ring, facing off against the wrestlers of ICW?
CraVin: Im not sure Adam.  I mean I did say that I am now officialy retired, but you know most people don't stay retired long,e specially in this business.  But at the current time, I like being a loving husband and hopefully a loving father.  And maybe, just maybe you'll see me back soon.  But for now, not likely.
Howard: Well CraVin tell me of your thoughts on this new ICW?  What has changed, what of these new guys who have joined, and who has come back, from the old ICW?
CraVin: Well this is a whole new ICW.  Everything has changed, the only thign that hasn't changed is that "The Genius" still runs the fed.  I bet you don't remember that little nickname, but what I mean is Alex Forbes is still the owner, now Co-Owner, because Alex went out and hired a young Bryan Masters, who is great with runing and organizing a fed.  The wrestlers aren't like what I remember.  When I first started out, it was full of people with passion.  Today all the people care about is wining titles.  Sure we got some good wrestlers, but half the time you only hear from then, when we give them a short at somehting.  When I was starting out, we had to do everyhting to get noticed, this days, they thing thye should be granted with gifts.  But ICW has some vetrans that are back and who understand what htye have to do to get ahead.  I mean Mexell is back, The Hunter is back, along with Big Time, Blitzkrieg, and a few others.
Howard: Well we are just about out of time, anyhting you want to get in before this is over?
CraVin: Well I would like to say that ICW is coming back this weekend.  Live from the Garden, right here in New York.  The show has been sold out for over three months now.  And the show should be awesome, because I'll be there at ringside, and so will the wrestlers of ICW bringing back the Legacy one more time.  And check us out at geocities.com/wrestling_icw_2001.
