The search of self ( soul ) Over rivers, valleys, oceans and suns My soul flies to find my body Through journeys past, present and future Passed on to us through time Flowers came from seeds As my eyes look out to see The constant that is the universe, all around me I have seen more than a life time of pain Twist it around, it's all the same Through flights of the dove Shines a rainbow of love I don't see a persons freedom When all they have is there choice of chains Into my mind I see, and travel to be A part of the river and the sea I turn into day, walk into night Give a moment reason, and a chance to a flight To you I am me, to me I am I To the sky and beyond, my whispers are heard Then forgotten, dispelled as rumors Shone on to the end When my search has ended I have found peace I have found myself Ed W Kardash Copyright �2005 Ed W Kardash
