Life in an hour glass (immortality) As every grain of sand slips through the porthole of your life Each grain another emotion, thought, and moment in time You are deepened by the passing of time Into and out of time you travel Inside and outside of the hour glass Time you are given or give is free, but time is spent Not an unlimited supply of time in this world, but a calculated amount Immortality Time well spent and time taken for granted Seeds passed on and planted, also those lost but growing out of sight Acquaintances you meet, and good friends that you keep along the way Family and friends will walk with you the distance In thoughts, spirit or there with you Through each path, in rains or calm Walking through life in a shadow, footstep, or baron ground You walk through life in a haze, mirrored in the mist of each second Into the maze of time, and the labyrinth of space in the hour glass Acquiring depth with every step Every grain and moment an eternity, or part of Into the hour glass of life Ed W Kardash Copyright �2005 Ed W Kardash
