Why is her favourite subject art?
1. I believe in originality because I love many forms of different art, such as music, sculptures, fine arts, movies, media etc,
2. Not just any art though, I like weird hazy things that are totally beyond reality..
3. I love the things that people dream about, and is able to express their comforts through art..
4. Everyone has an image of a perfect something or someone..
5. You may not find it in real life..
6. But it can exist in any form of art..
7. Leading to a conclusion...
8. I find that art lets you freely express yourself without constraint
Some art pieces that I have done
This is the recreation of Pon and Zi by Azusephere. He's a cute little fella.
The medium I used for this was just coloured chalk. It took me merely one hour to complete it.
This is my favourite, or was, my favourite Asian male star.
The medium I used for this was graphite and took me approximately 7 hours.
Thi was my self portrait I did four years ago.
I am especially proud of this one because it was my first time using pencil crayon for still-life.
With some examples above, it shows that I love doing recreations of still life and photos of something. I love using graphite, chalk, paints and pencil crayons. What I want to pursue further on is 3D art. I love working with mannequins, paper mache, balloons and other forms of objects that people may not find very amusing. However, since I am in university, studying buisness, I find it hard to find time for me to go out and pursue this hobby of mine. I suppose, it was my favourite course in high school. However, every now and then, I do take courses outside my concentration such as languages. I have taken Japanese, Chinese and Korean at SFU and I find languages beautiful works of art of linguistics. It's very interesting for me to relate fine art into actual language. Well, I hope I can find some time soon to keep doing it. I suppose the next challenge of mine would be to find a balance between passion time and study time.
