Chapter 8
�There is something about you that I must find out. I need to know, it�s been in my head for weeks� so take your hat off��
Yoonsuk looked as if he was about to kill her if she didn�t take the hat off but she couldn�t reveal her identity as a girl. The whole school would know� and her friends would know that she lied�
His partner in crime seems to be confused about the event and he just stood there looking at his partner Yoonsuk weirdly.
�Yoonsuk cut it out. He doesn�t have to take off the hat if he does not want to.�
A voice was heard from behind�
�Oppa is that really you came to rescue me? Man I have never felt so good to see you before in my whole life.� Minyoung thought as Daesuk walked near her. Daesuk grabbed her wrist before she could say anything, and walked away toward their house.
�Daesuk, don�t start with me� you have nothing to do with this� you don�t even know this guy.�
Yoonsuk�s cold voice was heard but Daesuk ignored it and walked off still holding onto his sister�s wrist.
�Minyoung, since when did that guy started to pick on you?� Daesuk asked in a voice full of fear. Minyoung was worried he has never talked to her that way before�
�Oppa, he is just weird ignore him, I don�t care I think he might be gay though heehee who knew I was so attractive as a guy� by the way how do you know this guy?� Minyoung said as to make it laughable and trying to make her brother less angry.
Daesuk just gave it a slight chuckle, �He is in my class.� and whispered lightly, �I know he is not doing this because he is just weird� and he is definitely not gay��
�What did you say oppa?� Minyoung didn�t hear everything but she heard a part yet she just shrugged it off and started to dress up.
Now that is not difficult. She slipped on her X-large shirt and some baggy pants and tied her hair up finished!
�Oppa I am going out to meet my friends now heehee behave while you are home!�
Daesuk still had an uneasy face and looked at his sister. Staring at his sister like a little baby. �I know you will someday find out��
�Why is this girl so late aigo she never gets anywhere in time does she.� Kristine said as the three girls were waiting for Minyoung.
�Well, well pretty ladies in town huh.� Mingyu said as he was looking up and down at the girls. The three girls got scared at the sight of a man. Grace turned bright red she is the way shy type of a girl.
�Mingyu, we don�t have time for this� tomorrow I will get Minyoung, you can count on that�� Yoonsuk said as he was pulling his partner and started to walk away. Brian gave slight wink to all the girls and caught up with Yoonsuk.
Grace stood there still red in the face and Amy was just dazed and confused, �Is this what all the Korean guys are like?� well then I don�t mind at all!� Amy said with a smile on her face.
Kristine in the other hand looked suspicious at them, �Did that guy just say he is going to get Minyoung?�
That�s when Amy and Grace came back to the reality.
�Oh he did didn�t he, are we sure it�s the same Minyoung though?� Amy said.
�Please lets not jump to conclusion I am scared!� Grace said as she was holding onto Amy�s shirt.
�Hey you guys I am sorry I am late!� Minyoung said happily as she was running to her friends. But she stopped her happiness when she saw the expressions on their faces�
�Ok, you guys tell me what happened? I will kick whoever�s butt that made you guys sad!� Minyoung said out loud as if her spirits came back. She was so happy to be with her friends again.
�Well Minyoung this might sound weird but� this one guy just walked by us saying that he is going to get you�� Kristine said in a worried tone. She knew her friend well and knew that she would not have any enemies. So that worried her even more.
Amy and Grace just stood there embracing each other scared. Grace looked as if she was going to cry.
Minyoung thought about the statement her friend just said and her mind overcame with fear� �Could it be him�� Minyoung said in a barely audible tone.
�It�s who?� Kristine asked but Minyoung just let out a loud fake laugh.
�It�s probably this one guy I tricked yesterday. Don�t worry about it he is nothing. And don�t worry, there are tons of Minyoung heehee even a guy...� Minyoung said as she tried to get off the subject.
But her friends couldn�t help but notice the fear in her eyes�
�So you guys where do you want to go! I will show you guys around.� Minyoung said happily trying to erase the memory of Yoonsuk.
The three girls also wanted to forget about the incident and happily replied to her.
�Let�s go to the Water Park, we heard it was the best place to go in the summer time.�
They all looked at each other and laughed as the old times came back to them in a flash.
�Well, we better eat first since I am starving!� Minyoung said as she grabbed all her friends and led them to the caf�.
�Oh no Minyoung and food, now we will never get to go to water park��
The three girls said in unison
The door of the caf� opened to revile the most gorgeous place the girls have ever been to, at the sight of it they all forgot about Water Park�
What they did not notice was the guys that were already in the place enjoying their meal.
The all so familiar faces� Taehyung� Minwoo� and Mingyu
Both of the crowd did not notice each other.
The four girls sat in their seat as they were looking at the incredible meal that the have never heard of at the incredible price�
�Uh, don�t worry guys I can pay� Minyoung said as she got a bit worried with a sick feeling in her stomach� and looked over to the table�
�Hey Taehyung so we haven�t been talking in a while what has been going on in your life?� Minwoo asked him as they were eating along.
�Well, nothing much except this one girl totally embarrassed me but don�t worry I will get her back.� Taehyung answered as if it wasn�t a big deal.
�Hey guys did you see the 3 new transfer students in our school from America? Hahaha they were so clueless� Wait there they are with a girl I don�t recall��
Mingyu spoke as he looked over to the place where the four girls were sitting.
He met his eyes with Minyoung as he caught the fear in her eyes, she quickly ran away�
�Uh, guys? I have to go to the� bathroom real quick hehe enjoy your meals��
Minyoung said as she ran quickly to the bathroom.
�She must really have to go�� Amy said as if it wasn�t a big deal but Kristine caught the fear in her eyes again�
�Um� guys do you guys recognize him� that guy from before and two other from our school�� Grace was scared as she let out each word trembling. �Why are they looking at us? What if they eh try to kill us?�
Amy and Kristine just rolled their eyes at their silly friend.
�Mingyu what did you say?� Minwoo asked as he also looked over at the table and suddenly a smile spread on his face.
�Oh, those girls, the girls that guy was staring at.� Taehyung also said as he smiled slyly.
�What guy?� Minwoo and Mingyu both said at the same time.
�Minyoung� that new guy� Jonghyuk�s new best buddy at school� what a name�
�So, that must be the guy Yoonsuk wants to get� I wonder what he did.� Mingyu thought as he looked over at the table once again.
�Hey, where did she go?�
�Where did who go?� Taehyung asked, �They are the three girls.�
�Well, there was one other girl that I never seen before�� �Wait she ran away� I wonder why�� �Never mind guys� uh I got to go to the bathroom for a quick second.�
Mingyu made excuse and went to the bathroom and waited outside.
�Uh oh big trouble darn it this could get ugly� I must call them and tell them I have to go home� Darn the day cannot get any worse!�
Minyoung was whispering in the bathroom as she picked up her cell phone.
Ring* Ring*
Kristine�s phone stared to ring.
�Hello?�
�Uh, Kristine hehe Hi it�s me Minyoung well I have a bad stomach ache so I got to go home now ok? Sorry by the way I will pay you back for the meal I promise!�
�WAIT MIN��
Click*
The phone was off�
�Ok, let me guess Kristine, Minyoung didn�t have the money so she made a run for it again? Man, she sure didn�t change and let me guess her excuse was a stomach ache?�
Amy said as they recall the old Minyoung in America.
��yeah� that was it.� Kristine answered but could not help but notice the fear in her voice. �What�s wrong with you Minyoung��
�Um, guys! Those guys are coming right at us ahhh help!� Grace said in a fear and grabbed on to Amy�s shirt again.
�Hey there ladies nice to meet you guys again.� Minwoo greeted them with a bright smile on his face as Taehyung was walking to them with a smirk on his face.
Grace was still holding on to Amy�s shirt and became bright red once again.
�What do you guys want from us this time are we taking your space again?�
Kristine attacked them with her words. Amy gave her a slight kick on her leg to get her attention and gave her a face saying that �Let�s not go there we don�t want to get in trouble.�
�Don�t worry ladies we are just waiting for our friend who went to the bathroom beside we don�t have anything against you guys we just want to be friends��
Taehyung said trying to pour out his lucky charm but it just seem to gross out the girls.
By this time Minyoung was out of the bathroom and was watching them from the corner just sticking her head out. Hearing what Taehyung said with his expression almost made her laugh out loud but she held it in there. Little did she know that there was someone behind her�
Chapter 9
�Well, well what do who do we have here?�
A slightly evil voice was heard through out Minyoung�s ears as she turned around and was faced with a familiar face�
�You� what do you want from me?�
Minyoung tried to act innocent and different from the Minyoung at school.
�Oh, no, isn�t that Yoonsuk�s partner in crime? The guy that was with him who tried to grab me? Man today is definitely not my day.�
Minyoung looked down as her head was filled with unpleasant thoughts.
�Hey don�t be so shy around us I mean I know we are singers but we do welcome our fans and appreciate them in everyway. By the way we know we look good hahaha.�
Mingyu replied and showed her a great big smile which also made Minyoung want to throw up. But at least she was relived at the fact that he did not know her identity.
�So you don�t have to run and you can just seat with your friends over there.�
Mingyu said as he was pointing at the table now with the three girls, Minwoo and Taehyung.
Seeing the unpleasant faces of Minwoo and Taehyung she could not stay. Especially Taehyung, he would tell her friends about being kicked out of the school and her lie will be known.
�Uh, yeah but I have to go now I already told them so� it was nice meeting you.�
Minyoung said as she ran out the back door quickly.
�HEY, I didn�t get your na�me?�
The slamming of the back door stopped Mingyu from screaming but that was after he had gotten attention from everyone that was sitting inside the caf�.
Mingyu turned red as he slightly waved at the people and then sat down at the table with the girls.
�What was that dork?� Minwoo asked as he was teasing his friend a bit.
�Well there was this girl that was sitting here who ran� never mind guys.�
Mingyu did not finish because he knew that he would just sound stupid in front of everyone.
The girls felt uncomfortable sitting with the guys but did not dare to speak out loud about it. Grace was by now totally red and Amy�s shirt looked as if it was stretched out another size. But Kristine was listening to most of the conversations and caught something suspicious�
�Yo, Jonghyuk, Dongwan, Yoonsuk over here.� Minwoo said out loud as three noticeable guys came in the door. One pretty as almost any girls with long pretty hair, one muscular with sadness in his deep eyes, one cold as ice but was admired by many. All three of them seem to be suspicious in Kristine�s eyes but Grace just became even redder.
Amy was actually happy seeing the cute guys coming in to join them.
�Yo, little girly your face is red are you ok?� Mingyu asked in a playful tone as if he was doing it on purpose to make her even redder.
Just as expected Grace turned strawberry red and hid behind Amy�s back.
�Hi Kristine, and girls.� Jonghyuk greeted them with a warm smile.
Kristine smiled back recognizing him from her class. Amy also was about to say hi when Yoonsuk interrupted her�
�I thought it was just going to be us guys, what�s with these girls� I am leaving if that�s what is planned out.�
One cold sentence from his mouth seems to have put the ice through everyone.
Dongwan shrugged as if he also understood him.
�No, that�s ok we will leave, we weren�t planning to stay here anyways.� Kristine said out loud as she grabbed her friends and shot up her seat. She glared at Yoonsuk but he ignored as he sat down with the rest. Jonghyuk gave him a disapproving look but Yoonsuk also ignored this�
�Man that was so weird, oh well at least he was a dumb one next time I guess we just have to go far away darn I feel so bad what I did to my friends that just was not right aigo stupid me.� Minyoung was walking along the streets talking to herself. Thinking about all the event that have been going on through the short period of time.
�Is my mind trying to be occupied? To erase something of importance?� nah maybe I am just going a little crazy��
She acted like nothing was wrong with her yet there were sadness in her heart that she could not hide. The memories that were trying to burst out�
�Why did I wanted to seem like a guy and hide my identity in the first place?�
Her mind was questioning her and she found no answer.
She knew one person that might understand her and that was her older brother�
�Hey you guys wasn�t that the guy that said will get Minyoung earlier in the day?�
Kristine said as they were walking out of the caf�. But Amy was dazed by the guys in the caf�, and Grace looked as if she was a fresh strawberry. Kristine just sighed and started thinking to herself. �Minyoung is so different but what�s bothering her that she can�t tell us� not even me��
They shrugged as they walked to their apartment. Kristine thinking about the weird day she had and Amy and Grace thinking about the guys�
�Uh oh I left my wallet at the caf�! Um, I will see you guys soon!�
Kristine said as she realized her wallet was missing. She ran toward the caf� wishing that no one had touched it. It had many memories of her life in there. Pictures of her best friends Minyoung, Amy, and Grace�
�Yoonsuk I have to talk to you�� Dongwan said calmly as he headed out the door leaving the rest of the crew behind with a questioning looks.
�Alright� wait for me for a second��
�Yoonsuk I notice that you act so cold after the� incident but these days I see few sparkles in your eyes� did you find another�� Dongwan started a heavy talk.
�Stop right there� you know I will never find another� It�s just that there is someone so much alike but it�s a he� maybe he know something about it?� Yoonsuk said as he recalls the memories of the incident.
�You know I saw her in my dream� I think if I ever see her again I will recognize her right away�� Dongwan tried to cheer up a bit but Yoonsuk still looked cold as ice.
�You think she will forgive you after the incident� a brave thing to think��
With that Yoonsuk left Dongwan outside in the cold and went back inside.
Dongwan hung his head down as he remembered the event and sighed at the fact that Yoonsuk maybe right after all. How can she forgive him�
�Oppa I am home.� Minyoung went inside the dark house�
Her brother was sleeping in the couch� seems like he had a long day.
She sheepishly smiled at his silly face and wondered if he always looked like a little kid.
She tried to remember how he looked 3years ago when she was 14. The time he had promised to be her brother and take care of her.
�Lim Daesuk you are the only brave person I know that have guts to take care of someone that is not related to you this well. My oppa� I wonder why my last name is still Kim though��
She remembered the day when he promised her it was at a hospital�
But the times before that were totally gone from her head. She did not remember when she first met him at all�
�Why, why oppa I think you have the answers� please tell me I think it has something to do with these crazy feelings I have these days��
Minyoung softly whispered good night to her brother and went in the room.
At the caf� everyone left except for Minwoo and Yoonsuk. Dongwan was feeling sick after the conversation with Yoonsuk and was taken home by Jonghyuk. Taehyung and Mingyu left while talking about the three new girls and how they are totally dazed by them.
��What is that?� Yoonsuk asked flatly at Minwoo pointing at a light blue square object.
�It�s a wallet� someone must have left it here�� Minwoo said as he picked it up and slowly opened it.
The first picture in it was 3girls that was at the table before they came. In the picture it said, �Missing� with a blank circle spot. Minwoo was amused at the cute picture and flipped for more. A picture of a girl appeared in his eyes� someone he recognized�
�Minwoo� you seem to be in a daze� what are you looking at.�
Yoonsuk spat out as if he was annoyed at the fact he was smiling.
�It�s the picture of the girls and this one I remember her carrying Dongwan home the other night. She was more like a boy but in this picture she actually look like a girl. Maybe it was the hair.� Minwoo laughed and Yoonsuk just shook his head in disapproval.
Just then a girl ran in the caf� panting for her breath� looking straight at Minwoo�s hand.
�Hey, that is my wallet!� Kristine shouted in anger as she saw Minwoo holding her wallet wide open. Her precious memories were in there and she didn�t want him to ruin it.
�Chill girly, I was just looking at the pictures, beside I don�t need $10.� Minwoo said as he laughed and Yoonsuk paid no attention.
Kristine was mad and she ran and tried to snatch the wallet away but Minwoo grabbed her hand instead.
�What are you doing? Let me go!� She yelled out loud and people inside the caf� looked at the scene.
Minwoo slightly smiled and said, �Chill, ok? I just want to ask you something. You see this girl in the picture? What�s her name?�
He asked as he was pointing to the picture of a girl that he was looking at.
Kristine looked at the picture� the picture that was taken while they were all still in America� she was such a crazy girl back then.
Without realizing she smiled and said, �Wow she did look kind of different hehe� um why should I tell you!�
She was feeling weird that he was asking for her friend�s name that he didn�t even know. Maybe it was jealousy�
�Well, I met her before that�s why and forgot to ask her name.� Minwoo just answered calmly and smiled as innocent as he can�
Kristine could not help but get amused at the fact that he�s smile was so different from the cold look he had, �he should smile more often� wait what am I thinking.�
�Oh, well I guess it won�t hurt to tell you her name� she is Minyoung.�
Instead of getting her wallet back from Minwoo, it was snatched away this time by Yoonsuk� He had scary eyes but this time they were shaking with some type of fear�
He was staring at the picture as if he wanted to put a hole through it. His hands were shaking as well.
�Hey what do you think you are doing? Give me my wallet!� Kristine said as she was trying to take the wallet from him.
��How do you know her?� A shaky voice barely audible came out of Yoonsuk�s dry mouth.
Chapter 10
�I am asking you a question here� how do you know this girl?�
Yoonsuk seemed as if he was a whole different person. His eyes were full of fear instead of the coldness he had before.
Kristine was shaking as well, scared of his reactions but she wasn�t going to let her friend in any kind of danger.
�I don�t know what you are trying to get from me here but� I am not telling you anything� now could you please give me my wallet��
Kristine was stopped in the middle of her sentence by the deadly glare of Yoonsuk�
He was stepping toward her as if he was going to kill her for an answer.
Kristine took a step back looking away from his deadly glares�
Minwoo sensed the atmosphere and suddenly got up from his seat.
Jonghyuk came back as well after taking Dongwan home safely.
Minwoo whispered something to Jonghyuk�s ear and walked next to Yoonsuk.
�Yoonsuk� give her the wallet� it�s hers remember?�
Suddenly, Minwoo snatched the wallet away with one hand and grabbed Kristine�s wrist with the other and ran out the caf� leaving everyone stunned� especially Yoonsuk�
He made no efforts to run after them but stood there with the deadly eyes and evil smile slightly curved on his lips.
It was Jonghyuk who had to take Yoonsuk home now�
�Why me�� Jonghyuk sighed as he took Yoonsuk and started walking out the door.
�Hey� let go of me!� Kristine yelled as Minwoo paid no attention.
�Get in the car now!� Minwoo said as he was looking back to see if someone was following.
�No, I don�t know you and� I am not about to get in a stranger�s car!� Kristine yelled as if she wasn�t scared� but her eyes were full of fear.
�Look, I just saved you and this is what you do to a savior? Well get in the car before HE comes trying to kill you!� Minwoo said as he pushed her in to the passenger seat of the car.
Knowing she had no choice, Kristine went inside the car.
Minwoo got in the driver�s seat and drove away�
�� Where is Kristine????� Amy said worried. Kristine hasn�t come back for at least an hour since she left.
Grace was also worried and she was still holding on to Amy�s shirt.
�Amy� maybe we should go out and search for her��
They both agreed as they headed out the door searching for their friend.
It was 10pm at night�
�Yoonsuk lets get you home, you need some rest.� Jonghyuk said calmly as they were heading out the door.
Yoonsuk said nothing but had that little smirk on his face�
�That girl� that just left with Minwoo� you know her don�t you.� Yoonsuk asked in a voice that Jonghyuk couldn�t quite figure out but answered yes anyways.
�Yeah, she is in my class, she is new.� Jonghyuk said as they were walking toward Yoonsuk�s car.
Yoonsuk chuckled mischievously and got in the car to go home.
Jonghyuk also got in the car to get home and to make sure Yoonsuk does not do anything out of control.
�So, your name is Kristine huh�� Minwoo said as he felt that she was scared.
Instead Kristine acted as if she was totally fine of the situation.
�Yes it is well I got to get home now� you can drop me off right here and I can walk.�
Minwoo just looked at her blankly and said.
�It�s 10pm you sure? Look there are terrorists in Korea you might be kidnapped or something terrible might happen.�
Minwoo saw her face expression as he said those words and smiled, �ha ha the tough girl is scared of something.�
�I can drop you off at home� by the way my name is Minwoo. So tell me the directions.�
Minwoo said as he still had the smirk on his face.
Kristine indeed was scared and had no choice, she told him the direction and they drove away.
�Here, this is where I live� uh� thanks for the ride.�
Kristine said as she tried to get out of the car� the door is locked�
�Hey, I am a gentlemen.� Minwoo said as he walked out and opened the door for her.
Kristine still looked scared and Minwoo laughed watching her face turning almost white as a ghost.
Minwoo bent down to her eye level and slightly whispered in her ears.
�I will see you tomorrow at school then� bye.�
Kristine just looked at him weird and said thanks and walked off.
Minwoo smiled and drove away�
�Hey Kristine� what was that?� Amy asked with a smirk on her face.
�Yeah Kristine, we saw the whole thing� Grace asked with a mischievous smile on her face.
Kristine became a little red but played cool.
�He gave me a ride home because it was late� nothing more.�
The two girls laughed at Kristine as if they didn�t believe her at all.
�So did you get your wallet?� Amy asked still laughing at her friend.
Suddenly Kristine�s eyes got wide� �Oh My God My wallet!!!�
She ran out the door to see if Minwoo was anywhere near but he was already far gone from her house. She shrugged and got inside the house thinking of getting it back tomorrow�
�Good Morning!� Minyoung got up really early thinking of making a breakfast for her brother. Seeing him tired yesterday made her a bit worried.
�������� He is gone already but it�s only 6am�� Minyoung was beginning to be very suspicious of this.
�This is so similar to what he did�� Suddenly a thought popped into her head�
�He� who is he? Why is my mind talking to me?! I must be going crazy I should just get ready for school��
Minyoung got dressed and got ready for school when suddenly the phone rang.
�Minyoung� I have to talk to you� meet me after school by the caf� ok? Now I got to get ready for school bye��
It was Kristine and she didn�t even give her a time to reply�
�I wonder what is bothering her��
Minyoung got out of the house wondering what was wrong with her friend.
�Good morning!� Jonghyuk said brightly as usual.
Minyoung just smiled back still wondering what was wrong with her friend� She looked over to her seat� she wasn�t there yet�
�Today is the day� I am finally going to ask him.� Regina was happy about something but Minyoung did not pay much attention to her.
�Is something the matter?� Jonghyuk was always worried about his friends�
�Caring kinds are always like that but they are not to be trusted all the time.�
�WHAT?� Minyoung suddenly jumped off her seat and grabbed her hat(head) and ran out the classroom confused�
�My mind is talking to me these days but why?� Minyoung ran to the hallway full of flowers without knowing�
Jonghyuk ran after her worried�
Shinhwa and Fly To The Sky was walking through the way when something fast ran past them� They were confused and was looking at the object that passed them when something else ran past them�
�What was that?� Minwoo asked confused at the site.
�You mean who was that?� Mingyu said as he was also looking weird at the 2objects that ran past them�
�Minwoo� Why did you do that yesterday.� Yoonsuk said flatly as he did not give much attention to the event that just occurred.
�Now Yoonsuk I did not want you to get in trouble beside there might be scandals��
Minwoo also answered flatly because he did not want to talk about it.
These two guys were keeping distance making the other members worried�
�Scandal?� Regina caught the small talking and wondered off
�What scandal? Yoonsuk oppa is mine� they must be joking well� I am going to be his from today.� Thinking about this a small smiled formed on her mouth.
Kristine, Amy, and Grace got to school and Kristine was looking everywhere, checking every time they turned a corner.
Amy and Grace just looked at each other worried when suddenly something or someone popped out of nowhere and grabbed Kristine�s shoulder from behind�
�Ahhh!� Kristine let out a scream as she was about to throw her backpack at the object.
�Whoa, calm down girl it�s just me.� It was Minwoo smiling as usual�
�Well, aren�t you going to say hi to your savior?� Minwoo asked in a teasing tone as Kristine�s face turned red from the anger.
�Hey, give me back my wallet!� Instead of a greeting, Minwoo got a yell from her about her wallet.
�Geez, here you are, I just forgot to give it back to you yesterday� beside you were so scared you forgot to ask for it.� Minwoo laughed as he gave her back the wallet and bent down to her eye level once again.
�I will see you around�� He said as he walked away. One again Kristine was left speechless while her friends behind her laughed.
All of them were too amused of the event they did not notice a pair of eyes staring in their direction.
�I am going to get you when you are alone and get the answer no matter what��
