Welcome to the Official
Identity Crisis Homepage!
Apparently, you bit the big wave while surfing on the net, wiped out, and ended up at this site. Well, thanx for stoppin' in, it'd be cool if u looked around a little and maybe learn a little about us.
The band formed in June 2000 in the guitarist's (Jon) bedroom, and it slowly progressed from there. And we mean slowly... Many bands form with musicians who don't know each other but can play their instruments really well. This wasn't the case for us. We formed a group as friends and had to learn our instruments as we went along. It's been a fun trip. We started by playing Blink songs from tabs off the Internet, and it seems like we've been kicked out of every practice place there is. We got kicked out of Jon's bedroom, Jon's garage, found the Storage Shed and improved greatly before finally being kicked out, tried Jon's garage again with a lame idea of padding the room with styrofoam (it didn't work), and now we play in an upstairs room in the bassist Josh's house, probably the place we thought we'd get kicked out of the fastest, but so far it's working. Now we don't play nearly as many Blink songs (we only play early stuff from them) and we have like 20 - 25 songs of our own after dropping many of the suckier ones. We have a small local following after playing 1 talent show, 2 gigs and a shindig (at a friends house). We have a 7 song demo called Bomb Squad, which we recorded ourselves, a cool looking t-shirt (i don't wanna hear no crap about selling out or succumbing to materialism before even making a name for ourselves, cuz we're just 3 poor white guys who need money), and we are in the studio for the first time recording a 13 song demo which will kick ass. This is the demo that's going to get us somewhere if we're destined to go anywhere at all. We basically have to get off our ass and book shows every other week when this demo comes out and with some dedication and a lot of luck, maybe we can reach the people who really need to hear us.
