Let's not have too much fun with our language. Let's not start calling pedophiles "Child lovers," or sexual predators "Affirmative Action Sex Tutors," or homocidal maniacs "Population Control Specialists," or bank robbers "Income Opportunists" Let's get real with English and be descriptive; let's not murder the language in a pretense of giving it "life." Euphemisms are okay, but make sense, please. While I object to "pre-owned" being spoken instead of "used," at least there is an honest relationship between the utterances.
So-called "Political Correctness" is unamerican, insideous, pernicious, and should be distasteful as any lie to a people. Conversely, if we fail to espouse "politcal incorrectness" we fail the nation of its birth. A modicum of tact is always a civilized thing, but we must eschew the twisting of society by a few through language manipulation for their personal agendas, which poses questions regarding freedom and meaningful expression. Is nonsense freedom? Is homosexuality really such a gloriously happy and desirable condition that it should be called "gay," or is a minority simply seeking acceptance by a society which traditionally finds their behavior abhorrent? Same-sex players shall ever rmain "homosexuals" to me, or "Homos" for short. The word "gay" describes me at the Chistmas party, and does not describe the "gender-challenged." Bastardizing a language is perversion; never mind "freedom of speech." Call a spade a spade, though "shovel" is not deviant, by any means, but "rake" leaps out of bounds, and is error that cannot be tolerated. Lauguage is so often "abused" because it is easy, comparitively. While language is a "living" thing. it must retain a descriptive quality. "Cool" meaning "neat" or 'nifty" retains a descriptive foothold in "calm, collected, cogent, and many more, unlike "gay," which is abstract enough to be meaningless. It is easier to verbally fabricate one's accomplishments, than to strive for a lifetime or get busy, which is why so many people are liars, and language is bent so often for purposes of personal gain, and lying is the biggest game on earth, where "steal it" with a word is the rule more than ever. Lying is what makes the world go round at the same time it puts the brakes on the spin. I've heard "Business could not exist without lies." We already know the government couldn't endure. Every lie ever told on a resume strung end to end would surely reach Neptune. Add to that every slight of hand or tongue in a single day, and one could smother all life with the heavy quilt it wove.
The bitter irony is that religion has for millenia been the birthing bed of man's most profound thought, his highest aspirations and the rallying flag of civilization itself, and verily is a cornerstone, if not "the" cornerstone of who and what we are. However religion is what today most defines Homo Sapiens as a primitive creature, which is exactly the opposite of the intention. Religion is indicative of arrested cognitive developement, and must be overcome if we are to face the future successfuly; live in harmony and survive as a species. It's important to note that what separates religion from superstition is purely symantic, and the time has obtained for a more aware, if not more rational being, to stand on the temple mound of his ancestors and spy the horizon with a clear vision; one unclouded by the delusional refuge forced on a creature seeking hard answers in a baffling universe. Religion will ever continue to have an important role to play in the human experience, but it must shed the dreams of its perpetual adolescence, and assume the mantle of its destiny in reality, which is godless and unmagical, except metaphorcally, for only that leap can realize the crowning maturity of what we call "religion." We must wear that crown of wisdom so dearly won; without its imaginary gems, while retaining the gold of its substance. To be sure; we have far to go, but we are well along the way, thank God! (Say it sans mirage.)

NOTE: A-- Athiests have niether "beliefs" nor opinions, but merely observations, for they are generally rational thinkers brought to an inescapable conclusion by simply regarding their environs. B-- People of "Faith" boasting of I.Q.'s over 120 are liars, for irrationality collapses around 115. C-- "RELIGION" must be narrowly and specifically defined to exclude cults and sects. Under this strict definition Islam, Mormonism, The Neon Church of God would not qualify. D-- Theocracy must be extirpated globally by any means available without exception, and soon. 1- The many delusional elements of religion are raising questions about its similarity to mental illness and concern that this afflicts nearly 85% of people worldwide, as the only known contageous "mental illness." 2- "Faith" in the religious sense is by it's very nature error and and primarily escapism. 3- The inherent fantasy of religion is something the real world could never afford and it should not be tolerated any longer, but be replaced with something more begnign to our survival. ( "God" would like that! ) 4- The make-believe aspects of religion are enough to render it undesireable for civilized society. 5- Remember 9/11 was the result of a faith based initiative, as is the death of every American in Iraq. 6- Tax the churches as the businesses they are. Expose and jail the charlatan's who "fleece the flock." 7- Since the the traditional function of social welfare provider has been assumed by governments, the main role of organized religion is as a community business, club, or gang, and should be regarded as such. 8- Religion has enjoyed a free ride for countless centuries, and it's about time that hayride came to an end. COMMENT: The Ten Commandments and countless lessons in the Bible make sense and are irrefutably sound. Invisible entities with magical powers, angels, prophesy, miracles, Heaven, Hell, and all the rest is patent nonsense, and does not deserve deference, tolerence, or respect because it departs from the truths reality presents.
American citizens are constantly being hoodwinked by their government. Departure from that tradition can only be accomplished through Constitutional change. Lock up the guns and watch the 51 minute movie below, but hold on to your hat. This is a real blockbuster!

LANGUAGE
We must take command of our language:
CHURCHES: The cognitively arrested, and the hucksters who ply them for cash and mind control. Tax the Jesus out of them, and give them real "religion."
To conclude that religion is anything but superstition is error, and if persisted in it is patently stupid, and actually dangerous in several aspects that raise it to the level of social poison, i.e. "bad for humanity." The current "institutions" of religion are vast money generating machines, and I cannot view the people who work the churches as "stupid," but, rather, criminal, or the people being worked as anything else but stupid, or at the very least, foolish. I can't believe desperation is enough to make men embrace lies. Religion is for weak minds and character, no boubt. Certainly anyone who cannot be a good and decent person unless under threat of punishment, isn't the genuine article, so does it follow that religious types are essentally disingenuous or phony?

The color blind (anomalous trichromats) are an afflicted group, a class of people, and a disadvantaged minority, a group which comprises 8% of the world population, while homosexuals make up only around 3-5% of world population, and we humor that arguably odder group; should we alter or shift the names of colors to humor those of the color-blind "persuasion," too? This change could be necessary daily, since the disease varient progresses and changes continuously.
Words like "Stranger," or "Queer," meaning "aberrant ,anomalous, bent, bizarre, or unusual," used to describe homosexuals are accurate and so therefore correct, since homos are in fact a very small and therefore "different" (3-5%) part of humankind. Sensitivity to the involuntary nature and minority status of these people is only right, and I think calling a spade a spade, or using the word "Homosexual" is not only accurate, but proper. It's important to note that homosexuality is slowly on the rise as population increases, as it has been observed in almost all species to be one of nature's population control mechanisms. Waking up homosexual couldn't possibly be a gay experience.

Beliefs, feelings, notions, and observations, all feed the engine of thought. Of these, only observations predicate thinking on what is perceiveded in reality. Thinking, right or wrong; good or bad, is "valid" simply because it occurs, though it may not be correct in sum-- checksum does not equate because of errors in data storage or transmission , to use the analogy of information technology. However the most desirable of these thought processes is necessarily cogent thinking based on actual observation, and PLEASE NOTE: "Reality" is the observable universe, and is NOT a term open to catch-phrases like "Perception is reality," for when a perception differs from what is, it errs and is by definition unreality, generally describable as one of the following; delusion ( False belief strongly held in spite of invalidating evidence.) hallucination ( False or distorted perception with a compelling sense of their reality.) psychosis ( Loss of contact with reality causing deterioration of normal social functioning.) These are a few reasons why, when Johnny gets his math homework wrong, the teacher doesn't simply say "That's okay, Johnny, you're entitled to your opinion."
Do not adopt notions or beliefs as a perception of the world, but let your senses make observations and report them to your brain, where they can be sorted and analyzed in an orderly fashion.
