Ones soul there stands
Knowing halfway around the world
Is the one and only
That I have met
and love ...
My heart alone knows
Until I see and touch him again
The poetry of my soul
will be complete ...
Floating in crystal blue, I wait,
for his touch of diamond gray.
When we embrace, our gems explode
into rainbows with glittering rays.
Were those colors before we met ~
bidden in the dullness of life?
Or were they just not there at all ~
and did our love release this light?
Beams of purple, rose and maze,
enchant the woods and meadows.
Eternal love has brightened the world,
and bestowed upon the earth a halo.
Now we must part, but just for a night ~
as tthe darkness fails to encompass us.
For above in the sky, God gave us stars,
that sprinkle us with loves diamond dust.
