Kabbalah means "to receive," and as we all know, it is not about learning to be less satisfied in life. Kabbalah is about wanting more. This week, the whole idea is about awakening. When the people in your life seem demanding, don't avoid them. Just the opposite - let them in! And let them tell you that you can do it! So often, we don't like to have "big" people around us because they push us. We'd rather be around people who are below us because it's more comfortable. People higher than us demand more from us. This week, look to the person who pushes you out of your comfort zone - not to those who worship you as you are. The people you need in your life are not the ones who tell you that you're fine just the way you are, or worse, that you can't achieve certain things. The people you need in your life are the ones that say, "I love you, but change - you can do more." Those are people you need to be with. You might often think you can't handle the pushing, but you can! Sure, feeling the inconvenience and pain of the ego is not pleasant, but if you stick with it, and don't run away, you will wind up doing what you never imagined you could accomplish.
