HOW & WHEN SAIKOU NI HAPPY! WAS CREATED
This website was created on 11/03/04 (11th March 2004) and back then it was formally known as "The Ichigo project" as a back up name, because I couldn't think of a website name. the site also started as a shrine to Ichigo, but I decided to change the site into a more general site when I changed the name to "Saikou ni happy!" at 04/05/04 (4th May 2004) because I can add more TMM gossip ^_^. Due to broken links & not enough content, the site was not officially opened till June 2004, actually I was not serious about building this site back at March 2004 as I did not have enough time, since I had loads of uni work. I started to bulid this site properly at June 2004 because I finished all my exams & was bored over the holidays.
WHY TOKYO MEW MEW?
My biggest ever interest is in anime & therefore I wanted to create an anime site on one of my fave anime. Although TMM is not my 1st favourite anime, (Cardcaptor Sakura or Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is my top fave) out of all my faves TMM was the most recent anime & there are not many TMM sites as I expected, therefore I choose TMM. There are loads of anime fans in the UK who has not heard of TMM! (My webasite was the 3rd TMM site after Cafe Mew Mew & Mew Mew Madness) so the aim of this site is just to get more UK people to know about TMM & of course to let TMM enjoy ^_^
WHY CALL IT SAIKOU NI HAPPY!?
I know it may be a weird name to you, but saikou ni happy means "most happy!" and I got the name from my favourite TMM song found on the Ichigo no CD; nano nyan! or Tokyo Mew Mew syper best hits CD; Cafe Mew Mew side. I just wanted to call it saikou ni happy! because there are lots of TMM site names which uses the words mew, mews, ribbon, strawberry, neko etc... and I want the name to be unique ^_^ If my website was not called Saikou ni happy!, then my 2nd choice would be to call it "Rondo" and my 3rd choice would be "Mew project"
ISN'T IT SPELT "SAIKOUNI HAPPY!"
Most people spell it "Saikouni happy!", but "Saikou ni happy!" is also the correct spelling. (It's abit like the word "Nakayosi" could be spelt "Nakayoshi"). The Hiragana word "ni" is a word which connects sentences, therefore I put a space in between to show it is linked to "saikou" and "happy!"
BEFORE "SAIKOU NI HAPPY!" WAS CREATED - Before this website was created I did built 2 other websites, but they were CRAP! therefore I have closed them down. My first one was called "LAI'S CARDCAPTOR PAGE" and as you guess it was a Cardcaptor Sakura fan site & it was built back in June 2003, but it went kind of a diaster, since I did not have any experince in web buliding, so everything was all over the place >.< My second website was called "Chii's wish" & it was a Chobits website. It was much better then the first site, so I have not officially closed it down, but still...everything was all over the place. I felt like giving up on creating any more websites, but then.. I created "Saikou ni happy!" which was my first success ^_-
