Ichigo has someone who she really loves & thats non-other then " Aoyama Masaya" Heres a closer look.....
WHEN WE FIRST SEE THE COUPLE
Ichigo was in a boring museum exhbit with Masaya, she was not intersted in anything but her crush. During the exhit many things happen like Ichigo tripping over & falling onto Masaya & in the manga Minto made a comment knowing that Ichigo likes Masaya, so we all knew right from the beginning that Ichigo really liked Masaya!
HOW THEY GOT TOGETHER?
Ichigo was so late, in fact 2 hours late for her date, since she was busy fighting Kirema Anima's with the other Mew girls & one of the Kirema Animas eat her cell phone so she couldn't phone Masaya. It was raining & already dark & as Ichigo rushes to meet Masaya for the date, he was not there & she felt really bad about it. Just when ichigo was about to go home, she saw Masaya waiting for her. That was when Masaya told Ichigo he loved her! how sweet!
COMMIUNCATION
Masaya & Ichigo have both got cell phones. Masaya always have plans to go & visit places and usually calls Ichigo out for dates. Ichigo always feels happy & is determine to recieve the call whenever he phones, even in battle or in a urgent situation she always have to recieve the call! OK so now about how they call each other-Masaya calls Ichigo by her first name and without using any honorifics, which is a sign of close relationship as Japanese people believe that honorifics can be used if you are really really close to someone. Masaya use to call Ichigo "Momomiya-san", which seems to me its a far relationship, but at least he calls her "Ichigo" now. Ichigo calls Masaya "Aoyama-kun" all through the anime/manga. Kun is the Japanese honorific use for a boy who is about the same age for you & to determine friendship. Ichigo calls Masaya by his surname, in Japan people call someone by their surname if they don't know each other well & they may start calling each other by their first name if they are beginning to know each other very well - so I'm not sure why Ichigo calls Masaya by his second name.
SOME DOWN FALLS
When Ichigo first meet Shirogane Ryou, she did had a bit of a crush on him... in fact his smile makes Ichigo all happy & it even makes her blush!!! Ichigo thought that Ryou was a jerk as a first impression as she becomes a Mew Mew & Ryou telling her that she is a super hero, so she tries to overcome the fact that she kinda likes him and after all her one true love is "Masaya." the next boy we meet is Keiichiro, Ichigo got changed into her waitress outfit in Cafe Mew Mew & when she meets him, he kissed Ichigo on the hand... but there was no sign of Ichigo and Keiichiro becoming a couple >.< so next is Kisshu who jumps out of nowhere & kissed ichigo. Of course Kisshu had a crush on Ichigo, but Ichigo didn't like Kisshu in anyway. Other weird things start to happen since Ichigo got too excited that she turns into a cat. She have been kissing Alto (Ryou) in order to turn back into her human form & also Francis (the big ugly fat cat) had a hugh crush on Ichigo.
THE OTHER STUFF
Ichigo describes Masaya as cute, athletic & has a great smile & she is always wondering if Masaya likes her or not. On the other hand Masaya acted normal around Ichigo, so it was really hard to determine whether he likes Ichigo or not until he confessed his feelings.
