Ichigo was outside the school with Masaya & they were chatting about going out together to a museum exhibit which made Ichigo blush. As Masaya said goodbye to Ichigo as he needs to go back to the kendo, Ichigo was getting all excited & her 2 best friends called Miwa & Moe congratulated Ichigo on her date with Masaya.
The next morning Ichigo woke up late for her date, so she quickly got out of bed & tied her hair back, but her ribbon broke. When Ichigo was finally ready, she quickly ran out of the house telling them that she is going out. Ichigo then introduces herself & her crush Masaya. As Ichigo was running she stopped outside a shop to look at her reflection in the window to see if she looked alright. She saw Masaya standing near a lamp post, waiting for her & as he turned around he said hi to Ichigo, which made her go all floatly. Next they catch a train to go to a museum & when they arrived at the entrance of the museum there was a huge queue waiting to get in. In the middle of the queue was a pillar with a statue of a cat on top, which was a camera & as Ichigo walked pass the pillar a photo of her was taken. Inside the museum Masaya was interested in looking at a photo & reading information of the wild cat and as Ichigo & Masaya�s date carry on, more pictures of Ichigo was taken.
In the research room Keiichiro was doing research on the �Mew project� & the photo�s of Ichigo was actually taken by him. He showed Ryou on everything he found. Back at the museum, Ichigo had taken some photos of her & Masaya together in the photo booth & Keiichiro kept on watching over her.
When the museum trip was over, Ichigo and Masaya were out in the park and as they talked Ichigo started to walk away, but she tripped & just when she was about to fall to the ground Masaya grabbed & picked her up just in time, which made Ichigo turned really red! He put Ichigo back to the ground & went to get some drinks. Ichigo decided to take a rest on the grass, she rolled down the grass, but then got back up, just to notice a cute caf� in front of her. Keiichiro was still watching over Ichigo & he agreed with Ryou that Ichigo will be injected with the genes of a wild cat. Ichigo then was running happily around the grass, but then Ryou started the �Mew project� which started to make the ground shake & a bright light flashed from where Ichigo was standing, then she got injected with the genes of a wild cat. Ichigo was lying on the grass holding Masaya�s jacket after she became unconscious from the injection, with Masaya sitting next to her & as she got up Masaya offered her a drink.
The next day at school Miwa & Moe was talking to Ichigo about her date with Masaya. She talked about the downfalls & of course the good parts, then she noticed that Masaya was at the Kendo, so she quickly hurried to get there, however there was already a huge crowd, therefore she can not get Masaya in her view. Ichigo got out a photo of her & Masaya she took on her date, but a girl pushed her & the wind blew it off her hands, then Ichigo quickly jumped over the balcony & grabbed it, but then she fell down & manage to stand up as she fall to the ground. Everyone looked at Ichigo from the balcony & applauded her, but Ichigo just ran off in embarrassment.
It was dinner time & Ichigo was sleeping, Miwa & Moe went to wake her up. Ichigo did not wake up & she was acting like a cat in her sleep, but the word �Aoyama-kun� from her friends gave Ichigo a sudden reaction to wake up! Ichigo went to collect some lunch with her friends from a group of people serving dinner, but when Ichigo saw some fish, she could not help but grab a fish with her mouth. When Ichigo noticed what she had done, she put down her tray of food & ran outside the school on a balcony in embarrassment. She notices that there was something wrong with herself lately, then she thought of the time when she saw a cat in her dreams. Masaya went up to the balcony to talk to Ichigo, however Ichigo can�t help adding �nya!� at the end of her sentences & she again ran off in embarrassment. Ichigo went back to the park, where the Caf� was, the weather was rainy & she was thinking about Masaya, but then a light flashed & Ichigo senses something strange. Ichigo ran to the direction where she sensed & she stopped running when she saw Masaya. Masaya walked away & as Ichigo tried to follow him, a Kirema Anima appeared & got injected into a rat. The rat grew into a big monster & its tail swung & hit Masaya. Ichigo watches in shock & ran towards Masaya to see if he was alright, but the rat jumped in front of her & he was about to bit her, however Ryou quickly grabbed Ichigo & jumped on top of a tree. Ryou started to explain to Ichigo that she needs to fight with the monster & he pushed her down in front of the monster & gave her a transformation pendant. Ichigo then transformed into a Mew girl & she was all confused about the situation. The monster started to attack again on Ichigo & as she dodged all of the monster attack words were coming into her mind & she said �sutoroberii beru beru�, which made her weapon appear. The monster strikes another attack on Ichigo, but this time Ichigo dodged it & attacked with her weapon � �ribon sutoroberii cheuku� which made the rat turn back to normal & the Kirema Anima was sucked up by Ryou�s robot called �R2000�. Ichigo transformed back to her normal self & checked up on Masaya to see if he was alright. Ryou began to talk about Ichigo�s mission, and then Keiichiro came & introduces himself to Ichigo telling her to accept the mission.
