-All of our heroines & villians in TMM are named after food. e.g. Ichigo-strawberry, Minto-Mint, Kisshu-Quiche etc...
-Japanese people always write their surnames first. I used to write names on my website with the characters first name before the surname, but I have now written their surnames before the first name (unless I specify I wrote the surname last) because it gives more of a touch to the Japanese culture. So you just have to get use to it.
-The surnames of the boys in TMM, Shirogane, Akasaka & Aoyama, are all named after districts/towns in Japan.
-Most of Japanese anime characters are written in hiragana. I suppose the main reason is because of the pronunications make it easair.
-Tokyo Mew Mew is probably Ikumi Mia's first big hit & success, since it was the first Manga of Mia's to become widely known
-The Tokyo Mew Mew logo is written in kanji & katakana. The romanji pronunces it as "Toukyou myu myu"
-OTHER PRONUNCIATIONS - Some people have difficulties pronuncing some Japanese names, so I hope this will help.
