SAIKOU NI HAPPY!
BACKGROUND INFO

I just don't know where to put this written info, so I created a background info section to give you the highlights of the kawaii anime "Tokyo Mew Mew"

Yes, Tokyo Mew Mew made its first hit in Japan on 1st February 2001. It started as a manga (just like many other Japanese animes) created by Ikumi Mia (Illustrator) and Yoshida Reiko.

The manga type is a sci-fi, action and magical girls series. Sci-fi as it features discoveries on endangered species, action as the story is about girls fighting to defeat the kirma animas to protect the dangered spicies and magical girls as the five mew girls transform into their DNA endangered species & have the ability to attack with their wepons.

Some Tokyo Mew Mew fans seem to like the anime Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura aswell (Like me), therefore they are my top 2 recommendations for any TMM fan. My other recommendations are Pita Ten, Dream Saga, Cyber Idol Mink, Saint Tail, Di Gi Charat and possibly Magic Knight Rayearth too.

Tokyo Mew Mew is also a Shoujo manga created for girls, but I know alot of boys (especially in the US) loves TMM alot, I don't blame them since TMM is such a great anime which everyone from different ages can enjoy!

Soon after a when a few Tokyo Mew Mew mangas were released it started to be created as an anime and it became popular as a range of TMM merchandise became aviable to buy in all good shops in Japan, including video games, toys, costumes, poster etc...

Although Tokyo Mew Mew is not one of the most popular girls manga*, it still lives and it rocks!

*Sailor Moon is currently the most popular girls manga at the moment as it has been around for more than 10 years and not only did it had an manga & anime series, but it has has a musical and live action series hit. Can you believe Sailor Moon is still carrying on!
