Why do Japanese people determine blood types of anime characters? It is a belief in Japan that the 4 blood types A, B, AB or O reflects on a characters personality & there are 7 in every 10 Japanese people who believes this is true. It is just like the English zodiac, you either believe that your star sign has a reflect on your personality or you don't Too bad the mew girls blood types are unknown, but we can guess what blood types they are by looking at the list below.
TYPE A
ADVANTAGES; calm, reliable & observes social rules
DISADVANTAGES; can be serious sometimes, slow to trust people & air-headed
TMM SEIYUU WITH TYPE A; Noda Junko (Zakuro), Sagaguchi Daisuke (Kisshu)
TYPE B
ADVANTAGES; intersted in everything & shares their views & interests
DISADVANTAGES; does not care about rules & does not think before they take actions
TMM SEIYUU WITH TYPE B; Ogata Megumi (Masaya), Toochike Kooichi (Ryou), Midorikawa Hikaru (Keiichiro)
TYPE AB
ADVANTAGES; Good at developing a relationship & tends to be quickly at doing stuff
DISADVANTAGES; Sensitive to others, tends to be strict with themselves & thinks too much about things
TMM SEIYUU WITH TYPE AB; None
TYPE O
ADVANTAGES; (Wow, lot's of good points ^_^) Peaceful, carefree, intelligent, trust worthy, easy going, know how to take chances & liked by everyone.
DISADVANTAGES; Can make big mistakes & stubborn
TMM SEIYUU WITH TYPE O; Kakazu Yumi (Minto), Mochizuki Hisayo (Purin)
TMM BLOOD TYPE PREDICTIONS-If anyone knows the blood types of any TMM characters, please let me know by email-arigatou! For now here are my predictions.
ICHIGO- A "TYPE AB" prehaps? Ichigo is good at developing a relationship as she has more friends then the other Mew girls. Ichigo can be strict with herself as she sometimes pushes herself too far to develop a relationship with Masaya.
MINTO- Hard to choose, but I guess Minto can be a "TYPE B", just because she does not care much about Ichigo being afriad of ghost & usually takes things too far (for example, when Zakuro would not join the Mew team-Minto reacted so spacey)
RETASU- I will say a "TYPE AB".Retasu is senstive & can be stricty with herself as she is lonely.
PURIN- Definitely a "TYPE B" because Purin always loves to entertain & takes alot of interest in things.
ZAKURO- Maybe a "TYPE O". Although Zakuro does not often make big mistakes, she is a model & liked by everone! Zakuro is also trust worthy to Ichigo.
BERII- Erm, I need to read the a la mode mangas before I can actually predict Berii's blood type, but for now it might be a "TYPE AB" because she is abit like Ichigo.
RINGO- Little is known about Ringo, so it is really difficult to determine Ringo's blood type, but I will say a "TYPE AB" because she looks like Ichigo-lol!
MASAYA- It is difficult to choose a blood type for Masaya, but if I really have to choose, then it would be "TYPE A". Masaya may not be as air-headed like Ichigo, but he is calm, reliable & can be serious at Ichigo.
RYOU- Erm,..."TYPE AB", as he can be good at developing a relationship & gets along with others. OK, Ichigo may not like Ryou much, but somehow she develops abit of a crush on him.
KEIICHIRO- "TYPE O"!!! If you read everthing in the advantages for a type O, it fully describes Keiichiro, hmm...but I am not too sure about the disadvantages though?
MASHA- This sounds funny because Masha is not human, oh well...he can have a blood type, so I'm going to say "TYPE O". Masha is intelligent as he can sense stuff & trust worthy to the Mew girls, especially Ichigo.
KISSHU- "TYPE B". Kisshu does not really think carefully about his plans before proceeding, he just loves to jump in front of Ichigo & kiss her
PAI- Pai is really serious & often does not trust anyone, so I will say a "TYPE A"
TARUTO- A "TYPE B"? Taruto does not think before he takes action on Purin & never cares about anything really, but himself.
