As you knew before, an anime is an animation made in Japan, which is usually a handmade and a fiction. This anime begins at the start at the 20th century when Japanese filmmaker experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in France, Germany, United States and Russia. Then it starts to grow at 1970 and divide it self from its roots, then it developed unique genre called mecha. In the 1980s, anime was accepted in the mainstream in Japan, and experienced a boom in production. And at the mid-to-late '90s, on into 2000, it increased acceptance of anime in overseas markets. Anime is broadcast on TV, distributed on media such as DVDs and VHSs, or included in computer and video games. Anime is influenced by Japanese comics known as manga. Some anime storylines have been adapted into live action films and television programs.
Anime is made base of our daily living structures for example the people, building, and anything in anime is duplicated from our daily living thing. There are 2 variation in anime, one of them is chibi, its contain an anime character with a kid sized body but actually he/she is a teen or the people elder than that. And the second one is super deformed, it is similar to chibi, the different of them is on the shape of the body. In super deformed the details in character is clearer although its still use a kid sized body. Both of them usually consist of large eyes, no nose, and little body.
To make an anime looks real, the creator usually adding some silly expression (called face fault) that shows the character feelings more clearly. For example a sweat drop to shows that the person is feeling that other character's attitude is unusual or strange (silly thing). The other example is the crossing tendon in it's head, it's mean he/she is angry,or if the character is very very angry the creator can adding some fire around the character. Usually the important thing in showing expression is the eyes, they can show how is our feeling in anime but of course it need help from the image effect that I'm talking about.
The trademark of a mangaka (creator) is usually showed in the character's face. All the character in different anime/manga must not be the same, although there are many similar but different face in different anime. The different in their face is slightly showed in the character's eyes.
