| Charles William Smith: My grant Grandpa was Born on a farm North of Coleta IL., Mar 13, 1878 Died Spet 14, 1954 at 76 years old. He married Mary Elva Reisinger, Mar 12, 1903 They lived on the farm near Coleta until1918, when the moved to Dixion Il. The closets Sunday to Mar 12, 1953, they celabrated thier Golden Wedding Anniversery. Their were several family member prestent at this wonderful event including my father, Gerald Carnahan. The same linin table cloth that was used at the wedding (a wedding gift) was used for this event. Some of the gifts presented to the couple was: gold wrist watches, from the grandchildren, a beautiful arrangment of yellow roses used as the table centerpiece, and a small golden tree, bearing 50 gold-wrapped silver dollors.Children together: Lola Isabel Smith and J.
