Jan composed this little poem: As Mama sat knitting all snug in her chair, her elves were all flitting, running here, running there. Mama gave out her orders, “Get the flour, make the dough! We're going to make some cookies: special sugar ones you know.” So we gathered all the fixings: A pinch of this, a spoon of that. She sprinkled on the sweetness, once the cookies were rolled out flat. All her love - and cookies - A simple gift to share. Nothing could be more meaningful than our mother's love and care. Merry Christmas To All, And to all a good bite! Love, Mama
