| WEST COVE ICE RACING ASSOCIATION RULES FOR THE 2005 SEASON CONDUCT; INCLUDES DRIVER, CAR AND TEAM 1. Rough riding and or unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind in the pits or on the track are not permitted and will not be tolerated. Drivers found guilty shall be treated as follows: First offense: A warning, loss of all points accumulated that day, and suspension for the remainder of the race. Second Offense: A warning, loss of all points accumulated that day, and suspension for the remainder of the race and the following week. Third Offense: Suspension from the West Cove Ice Racing Association, and loss of all points accumulated for that season. Reinstatement of the suspended member can only be done at the next regularly scheduled meeting by secret ballot vote. Any suspension applies to car and driver. 2. Any person considered intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or medication, and not physically or mentally responsible for their actions, or are considered a threat to fellow drivers, will not be allowed to race that day by track officials. 3. 12:00 noon until the end of the race - No drivers or crew members are allowed in the infield, flagman or scorer's areas, and track for any reason unless given permission from track officials. 4. When the green flag drops, the flagman is in complete control of the race. Track Management will respect any decision rendered by said flagman. The flagman has the right to start the race as he sees fit. 5. Any physical contact by driver or crew with others will result in suspension from club. NO FIGHTING!!!!! 6. LATE FOR REGISTRATION WILL MEAN STARTING IN BACK!!!! TIME SCHEDULE FOR RACEDAY Registration 9:30 - 11:30 Tech 10 - 11:30 (no later) Warm up 10:30-11:15 by classes Drivers Meeting 11:30 am Sharp First Line Up 11:50 am Green Flag 12 NOON |
