Everlee Vale is three small towns enclosed by mountains on three sides and an uninviting forest on the fourth. the map is available on the mailing list webpage: PandoraGames or at the bottom of this page. This document will further detail the locations and people that can be found in Everlee, as well as some that can't be found. This file contains only the most basic information as quick reference for the PC's and will be updated as the campaign progresses.

currently, the only race allowed is human.
classes allowed: bard, cleric, priest,* druid, fighter, ranger, rogue, sorceror, wizard.
* character will be unable to exceed first level as a priest until later on in the campaign (but, he can still add levels in another class). priest characters are followers of Cammist. all PC's are expected to be adventurous. exploration and initiative will move this campaign along the swiftest and most smoothly.

most importantly are the towns which the PC's will be from. all three are farming communities with little outside threat except Xanthritalt. Xanthritalt is a massive dragon rumored to live deep within Angelblood Range. he wouldn't be known by any other than the elders except for the "harvest" he demands every five years. fifteen young adults (15 years of age), 3 males and 12 virgin females, are taken to Angelblood Cave and examined by Filbert, the dragon's human assistant, and never seen after that. in return, Xanthritalt promises the safety of all within the valley. the people of Everlee have grown stagnant and are afraid to leave... they have generally just accepted this as a way of life for the past 40 years. laws have declared that all females remain virgin until the age of 16, punishable by death, and the rape of any female under the age of 16 to be punishable by death of both violator and family. all laws are issued by the Lord (currently Lord Dentra) and enforced by the Shire Reeve and town deputies.

Coalton - supports coal and copper mines for the vale and a silver mine for the Lord's treasury. veins of tin have been found in both the coal and copper mines in addition to a long vein due east of Coalton. the "Coal Masks", a gang of thieves, has recently become known in Coalton, blamed for a series of recent crimes.

personalities of Coalton include:
Endrane - physician
Philisin - Endrane's assistant
Rayent - mage
Abrist - contact person and assistant to Rayent
Fokare - Lord's Deputy
Odrian - deputy
Dryarten - proprietor of "the Spotted Duck" - rumored to have single-handedly defeated an ogre
Dantus - bronze smith of reputed skill
Uster - keeper of graveyard

Ryme - best known for "the Only Vine", a tavern run by Kirtan, and for the many pleasures of his tavern, including "the Green Drink", best ale found in Everlee, and the beautiful serving wenches that are available to any man that can slip Kirtan a gold coin. (of course, the girls expect to receive something, also.)

personalities of Ryme include:
Perient - mage
Tehyrt - deputy
Castivarn - herbalist - spell components
Kirtan - proprietor of "the Only Vine"

Pierce - the altar to Cammist is centered in a very lavish garden tended by Hikam, where his wife and acolyte also reside for most of the year, tending the garden when he's not asked to bless someone's field or perform miracles for the barren or sick. all miracles and blessings require a donation of time (if he needs anyone to help with the garden) or money. service is usually for up to three years, depending on the miracle he is asked to perform.

personalities of Pierce include:
Prostnel - herbalist - injury/illness remedies
Ben - "Old Man Butcher" - generally well-liked elderly member of the community
Hikam - Father of the Gardens
Anistee - wife of Hikam
Noven - acolyte of Hikam

outside the towns are:
Boristen - Shire Reeve of Everlee Vale - owns land outside of Ryme
Lord Dentra - Lord of Everlee Vale - estate sw of Coalton
Jal - son, twin of Enani - training under Shater
Enani - daughter, twin of Jal
Miryut - eldest daughter, seeking the favor of a man who can wield a sword, hold his tongue, and buy her heart
Shater - Captain of the Lord's Guard

other items of note:
the fey - mischievous and malignant spirits are rumored to occupy Spearleaf Glade, Frost River, Cold Lake, River Hollows, Diamond River and Diamond Lake. the commoners rarely approach these enchanted sites. those fey that inhabit the rivers are not seen anywhere near the lands that are being farmed or in the rivers that pass through the towns.
the elves - occupy the Empty Hollows - vicious and irrational, predatorial, these elves attack anyone who wanders into or too close to the woods, but otherwise don't leave the woods or cause any problems.
ogres - the only exit from Everlee Vale lies past the hills at the southernmost edge of the Twisting Range. ogres live in those hills and they snag any that wander too close or try to enter or exit Everlee Vale.
Beyond the Valley - what few wanderers have slipped into Everlee past the ogres have told of vast plains settled by magnificent centaurs, rocky coasts, more hills (also riddled with ogres), and even a sandy beach.
the graveyard - Lord Dentra will perform the services for well-known or respected (or who have rich families) people buried in the graveyard. it is located 60' up Angelblood Range just west of Coalton.
