Alone in this dusky town we do sit.
A pair of beings so alike but different.

Will different eyes does each see this world.
And calls it what they will.

Within us all we have a monster.
Dispair and anger bring it forth.

And now I sit watching it.
Wondering what to do.

I cannot quench the fires that rage in my mind.
Nor can I let them lare higher.

Locked here in mortal conflict with myself.
I fight day and night to control whats within us all.

I am a product of past anger, and present remorse.
I am the future of everyman yet no man.

Learn man to control that which drive you.
And quench the fires that never die.
