And again I sit here yet to write to the world.
Knowing the fight rages on.
I wait for the news of the death of man.
And I ponder the lives I have known.

I watch them fight and struggle.
Study them as they love and loose.
I feel when they triumph and when they fail.
And I weep once they have passed.

I am the sage of the mind.
I am within you all, yet not within you at all.

I question your lives,
And in turn you question reality.
I rage against humanity,
And yet you embrace it further.

What a wonderous thing you human souls.
Born to die,
Yet living your small lives as if you shall never die.

And the more I ponder your lives.
The more I realize mine is but a shadow.
And in my shadow realm I shall sit awaiting.
Sit on my dark crystal throne and wait.

For the one human to come and pass the time.
And ponder the times of gods and man with me.
WAITING
