Dear Ice Hockey Friends,

Our moment has arrived in order to work with optimism towards the Development of our Sport within our Country. Our Sport in Spain has had to fight for its existence and a sporting place within our Spanish Society where other Sports have had a normal evolution and development. At this time, the new Spanish Ice Federation of Spain and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) is hosting a Development Camp towards our goal to prepare a National EYOF Team in preparation for the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) JACA 2007.  We are taking advantage of this Development Camp in close collaboration with our National and International Institutions such as: Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD), Spanish National Olympic Committee (NOC), International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), City Hall of Jaca and Club Hielo Jaca, all IIHF Development Programs towards our sport in Spain. 

On behalf of the President of the Spanish Ice Federation, Mrs. Maria Teresa Samaranch and my own as Vice-president, we hereby welcome you to Jaca to the new future of our Spanish Ice Sport Federation.
