Demmagus challenged Khonsu for the rights to lead the herd and it was a rather one sided fight. Demmagus easily beat Khonsu for the rights to lead the herd. He's a very powerful angry medium-sized vaale. No one talks to him in the herd and everyone pretty much fears him. His got a feared attitude and no one questions his leadership ever. He runs the herd much as Gage use to run the Winds of Lore Herd, with an iron fist.

He tried his best to please everyone in the herd and does it well. That all changed when Demmagus took over. The herd is always on edge when the new leader is around. Khonsu is left in control when Demmagus goes off, which is frequant. Khonsu would do anything to take his herd back, but he's not strong enough to defeat the younger, quicker Demmagus. He and his son both are trying to think of a way to get the herd back from the strong sedistic brute.
