::Mike Rann::
Mike Rann is South Australias 44th premier.  He came from South London, and he was born in 1953.  Hes father was an electicain and his grandfather was a dustman, and his mother worked in a place were they made spitfire plane bits. 1962 Mike and his brother  and family left London and moved to New Zealand.  Mike was the first one in his family to go under a education at bachelor or arts and masters in political studies and completed it.  Also at highschool he was the newspaper editor.  After finishing school he became a political jouralist for the New Zealand broadcasting corp and then moved to Adeladie in 1977 to become a press secretary and speech writer for Premier Don Dunstan.  After that mike went on to become an Adviser to Premiers  Des Cororan and John Bannon between 1979 and 1985.  He got electected into parliament first in 1985 as a member of Briggs.  In 1989 he was elected to Cabinet.  And in 1992 he became minister for business and regional development.  In a breif peroid as deputy leader of the opposition. Then Mike became leader of the oppisition in late 1994.  Mike Rann also has two children.
