::Freeing up space::
Well you can always go into Windows and clear at your cookies and unwanted files by hand, but hey, we live in the age of "Programs" and they do that for us. To clear out some space on your hard drive. Click Start, then programs then move over to accessories then over to system tools and click Disk Cleanup. Pick which drive you wish to clean up and then click ok. Once the new area opens up pick which files you wish the "rubbish" files to be removed from and then click ok. If you havent done this before it may take very long but the end result is alot of free space on your hand drive.
::Defragment::
Desfragment, sorting out the files into the correct areas. Most people who are on the net should be defragmenting once a month to sort out your harddrive and keep it running smoothly. First go into my computer, then right click on a drive you wish to format. Click the format button then clikc start. You might wanta turn off all running programs and set your screen saver to go off in a couple of hours. Now this may take a couple of minutes to 6 hours depending on how much files you have on your hard drive and how often you do this.
::Setting up a Home webpage::
This here will set your start up page to a webpage of your chocie.
Go to my computer and click control panels, then click on Internet Options and then you should see a web browser. Set this browers to your chocie then click Apply then Ok.
::Clearing the file on the documents tab::
Click on the start button then go to settings then task bar and startmenu. Once its opened, click on the advanced tab and then click on the clear button next to the recycle bin picture.This will delete history of websites in the browers also.
::Removing Programs::
Go to my computer, they go to control panel. Go to the Add/Remove programs icon and open it up. Now select a program in the "open area" were all programs names are. Click on a program then at the bottem of the screen click add/remove. This will remove it.
::Changing a file opening program to a different program::
Now open up a folder, then click on the tools tab then go to folder options.
Once in go to the tab which says File types and locate the file that you wish to change its opening program to a new one. Once found highlight it and go down to change and pick a new program to open it up with.
