My Best Friend�s Wife

She found him at a time when he really needed someone
A time in his life when he felt all alone
She comforted and consoled him and gave him self-worth again
She�s just what he needed, she�s been good for my Best Friend.

They fell in love and finally got married
Now there was relief for the hurt he had carried
She welcomed him and his children into her home
Joined their famlies together, now they are as one.

She�s a caring person and opened up her heart
Renewed his spirit and gave him a new start
She loves his children and treats them as her own
Gives them room to grow and makes them feel like they belong.

My Best Friend means a lot to me
He used to be my husband you see
I�m the one who treated him wrong
and hurt him so and made him feel all alone.

So I�m thankful for my Best Friend�s Wife
who gives him happiness and a new lease on life
I want them to be happy and enjoy each other to the end
So to his wife I say, �Thank you� for loving �My Best Friend�.
