As I slip slowly into sleep, I begin to dream of you and I. Together for the first time, Under a blood red sky. As the sun slides over the water, You turn to me and we kiss. Ever since the first time we spoke, I have been waiting for this. You take me in your arms, And our bodies meld as one. Touching your face with my fingers, In the last rays of the sun. All too fast the dream disappears, You turn back once and wave. I know I have to let you go, But it's your touch I crave. I know that you are not mine, And, in fact, you never were. What we had was just a fantasy, That could never be more. My eyes snap open and I awake, To the cold, grey light of dawn. Alone, I watch my dreams disappear, Leaving my heart broken and torn. Ker. |

A lone gunshot echoes in the halls, Followed by a scream. Can this really be happening here today? Or is this just a dream? You think you'll be safe at school, You think you'll be all right. This kind of thing only happens on the street, On a cold and lonely night. A mother left without her child, A student without her friend. If you can't depend on safety here, On what can you depend? Students scarred for the rest of their lives, By the actions of just one. One student with a score to settle, One student with a gun. Ker. these words I say to you |

I have to go now, it's time for me to leave. But before I go, I have a few things I need to say...
I love you with all my heart, I have always loved you, And now, I will love you for eternity.
I will wait for you, one day it will be your turn, And we will be together for eternity.
Do not blame others for my leaving you now, It is fate, destiny, something pre-ordained.
Never forget me...I am not gone from you forever, I will always live, in your mind, dreams and heart.
But do not cry for me, do not waste your life on possibilities of what might have been.
Live your life to the fullest, You never know when it is your time to go.
Don't rush through life, don't live too fast, Take the time to laugh, dance, love, live.
These words I leave you with, Are my last gift to you. Please heed them, live your life by them. These words I say to you. Ker. |

Last night I thought I felt your touch, I turned~and you weren't there. I've been thinking about you alot lately, Wondering if you still care. I've also been wondering where you are, Or if you're in any pain. Are you happy now, unlike before? I need to see you again. But it's not that easy to see you, And I know I can't talk to you. I can't hold you like before, Can't kiss you like I want to. Instead all that remains is a plaque, The only thing left of you. And underneath this is where you lie, Surrounded by flowers and sky so blue. But still I feel you next to me, Still feel your hug, your kiss. It's so hard to live without you, You're the one that I still miss. But I understand you had to leave, And I believe you love me. And my memories will keep me warm, Although together we cannot be.
