After a year of Fertlity Treatment and 1 miscarriage we finally got pregnant with our Darling little Angel Cheyenne.
I had a hard pregnancy! at 11 weeks I was taking out of work and placed at home, and having to see the doctor every 2 weeks for ultrasounds, I had to Eat every 2 hours due to my blood sugar droping and causing me to come close to passing out, I also gained 40 lbs! and I wasn't due until August 21, 2003! But on July 8, 2003 I got up at 4:30 am and went to go pee pee and my water broke, I thought I had all the time in the world most people dont start to dilate until after there water breaks anyway right? LOL and I wasnt in any pain at all Well Thank god I listened to my darling hubby and went on to the hospital! We grabbed my bag which had been packed since I was 20 weeks pregnant and got to the hospital at about 5 am Then doctor came in an ask me if i was in any pain i told her no none at all and if i was having any disconfort the answer again NO.......LOL I just thought im 6 weeks early there going to stop my labor and do a amniotransfusion (not sure of spelling...LOL) and send me home i never dreamed what was to come! The doctor checked me and Told me Well Sweetie were going to have this baby right now i laughed and thought she was kidding. Boy was i in for a big shock When she checked me I was 6 CM dil and 90% affaced. Yeah your reading correctly 6 CM dil and 90% affaced! The only problem was when she checked me she could fill Cheyenne's Feet in stead of her Head. Well they did a ultra sound and sure enough Our little Bundle wasnt only going to be 6 weeks preemie she was going to be breech. Well the next thing i know i've got 6 nurse's hooking me up to iv's and shaving my belly and looking for a Heart beat on the baby. Well they got me to the OR For my C Section because of the baby being breech at about 6:30 and at 7:05am Cheyenne was born breathing on her own crying and was a good color. The doctor's were amazed at the fact that she was 6lbs 3oz and was 18 &1/8 inches long! Cheyenne went from the OR to the NICU where she would stayed for 6 long days Were they would decover that she had my blood type attached to her blood cells so she got 5 days of medication for that she also had jandise (Not Sure Of Spelling) and had to be under a Billy Lite for 6 Days until her Billy Levels Peaked, she had a Reflux and can only take Soy Formula, And shes a little bit behind on her size but the Ped said that she would catch up by the time she's a year! The fun thing about this whole thing is the whole pregnancy i was scared to death of the pain and I HAD NONE. But i decovered that my Daughter brings out the best in me and she has a mind of her own. She's her own little person, I Love her to death and I wish I could express how exciting it was to carry her those long 7 Months and How blessed I was to have a health baby at being a preemie most people arent that luck But my little Darling is soooooo Much fun she's now 10 months old and trying to walk say all kinds of words!
