| Joey's Birth Story My husband and I found our we were expecting on June 23, 2002. We had been trying for 1� years to have a sibling for our older son, Dennis, who was then 3 years old. My due date was February 26, 2003.<BR> When I was 8 weeks pregnant I had my first sonogram and everything was perfect. While I was pregnant I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe morning sickness) and was in the hospital a lot. I lost 30 pounds instead of gaining weight. But the baby was healthy and developing perfectly! When I was 5 months pregnant I had another sonogram, that's when we found out we were going to have another boy! Since I had a C-section with my older son, we decided to have another C-section with this pregnancy since it presented less risk. On February 20, 2003 at 9:03 am, Joseph Scott was born!! He surprised everyone by being breech, but he was healthy! He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. After 2 days in the hospital we got to come home. |
