HISTORY
In February 15, 1988, Manny P. Del Prado, an Engineering graduate from De La Salle University-Manila and grandson of the late Dr. Lorenzo B. Paredes (founder of Imus Institute in Imus, Cavite) established Imus Computer Center in Room No. 4 of Ilano Building, Nueno Avenue, Imus, Cavite. His primary objective was to help Caviteños, primarily at the town of Imus become aware of the latest in Information Technology since no other computer center had been established at that time. ICC, was then the first computer rental center in the town of Imus of Imus offering short-term training and rental services.
In 1989 as part of ICC's services, computer hardware sales and computer software development were added. Liwayway Marketing Corporation and Imus Rural Bank had become two of ICC's pioneer clients during that time where the former signed up for the development of their payroll system and the latter bought their first computer unit.
1990 bought about many tie-up services for ICC and other schools. Queen of Angels Learning Center (Imus), Immaculate Concepcion Academy (Dasmariñas) and Imus Institute sought the assistance of ICC in providing computer training for compnaies such as the International Institute for Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in Silang, Cavite and National Reinsurance Corporation in Makati City, Metro Manila.
In 1993, ICC began offering short-term courses. Upon securing a government permit from the Department of Education Culture and Sports (DECS)-Technical Education Division, ICC was authorized to offer short-term courses in computer concepts, word processing, spreadsheets and database management systems. 1994 had been a big leap for ICC since its president and founder decided to offer a Two-Year Course in Computer Programming. The initial enrollment was only 40 students. Already gaining a firm ground in Information Technology coupled with the growing interest of the public to learn about computers, ICC expanded its course offerings in 1995-1996 and added 2-Year Computer Secretarial, 2-Year Computer Technician and 2-Year Computer Aided Drafting and Design. It was also in 1995 when ICC signed up a technology transfer agreement with a Singapore-based IT company, the Advanced Technologies and Solutions of Singapore (ATS), to further enhance the skills and competencies of all ICC students.

ICC began to offer its competency-based curricula. In January 1999, another ICC branch was branch was opened in GMA, Cavite. The population of ICC students have been marked by a tremendous increase after the expansion. It was in the same year that ICC assumed the name of Imus Computer College. In 2001, ICC opened another branch at the heart of Dasmariñas, Cavite to provide quality computer training at an affordable cost.
ICC maintains strong proffesional affiliations with the following organizations: from 1991 to date with the Philippine Computer Society (PCS), where the ICC President, Manny Del Prado held the position of Director, the Cavite Computer Society (CCS) of which he was the Founding President in 1991; and the Private Technical Vocational Educators' Association of Region 4 (PTVEA-Region IV) of which he is the current President. PTVEA is the biggest Private School Educators' Association in Southern Tagalog with 200 school members and a combined population of around 20,000 students.

In an effort to further solidify and strenghten the skills of all our ICC students, ICC signed a school agreement with the Microsoft Corporation beginning year 2000, to help them become globally-competitive equipped with the right skills to meet the challenges and demands of companies today.
The year 2002 had been a great year for ICC in the field of Information Technology Competition for both Provincial and Regional Level. ICC had become the champion in the IT Skills Olympics 2002 for both the Youth and the Open Category in the province. This event was hosted by TESDA and only a limited number of schools was able to pass the pre-competition requirements.
