| If we are not
careful the Lord will give us things that are out of his will.
If you would take a few moments and read along this study will
show you biblical truths on this subject.
Ex 16:4 Then said the LORD
unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the
people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may
prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall
prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they
gather daily. 6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt: 7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD;
for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we,
that ye murmur against us? Nu 11:4 ¶ And the mixt
multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel
also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the
cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the
garlick: 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. Nu 11:5 We remember
the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the
melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. We are a lot like the Children of Israel were. I myself am one. We a lot of times keep praying for things that we want, and not the things we need. If we are not careful we will start to need the things we want instead of wanting the things we need. Leave the needs up to God and pray for guidance and strength and life will be better. The Lords will was to keep them with the Bread from heaven and the people plotted against Moses and God and murmured amongst themselves. Be careful children of God. God hears our every word, he knows your every thought. Some day every word will be in front of you and you will be judged about what has proceeded out of your mouth. After some time Moses prayed to the Lord and asked him why they could not eat other things. Like I said at the start be careful of what you pray for that is not in Gods will because he will give you things you pray for even if it is against his will. This is what he done for the Children of Israel. Nu 11:18 And say thou
unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat
flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give
us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD
will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. 19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days,
neither ten days, nor twenty days; 20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils,
and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD
which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth
out of Egypt? The Lord did give them what they wanted even against what he had in his plan for them. I am not sure that the Lord would still smote people for disbelief and doubt, but I am sure if he gives us things against his will it will never be pure, or you will never enjoy what you receive. This is what God did to the children of Israel. Nu 11:32 And the people
stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and
they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers:
and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp. 33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was
chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the
LORD smote the people with a very great plague. While the food was still in there mouth the Lords wrath fell upon them. I want to make sure that I stay in the perfect will of my Lord. I pray all the time for his guidance and strength. I always seek his perfect will for my life and my families life. All we can do is pray and seek the face of God and wait for his guidance and his answers. I pray this was a blessing to you. If you have any questions or comments e-mail me at. |
