to accept as an intentional choice. An effort not to change against
globalization and post 80’ Turkey. This is an independent, individual
passive resistance proposing no alternate suggestion against similarization
and commonness.
This is an effort not to be “the other”, or in another view, staying
as “the other”. An effort against the imposed change of direction.
A tough struggle in the process of reformation of one’s own values
against those materialized.
At the exhibition, there are 21 black and white photographs with
a black background, all printed with an emphasis of contrasting
light and with minimalist approach. The reason of presenting the
large size prints together with the small size prints in the same
large size frames side by side is to prevent the audience from
any external disturbance and keep them close enough to consantrate
on the pictures only.

değişim yönünde gitmeme uğraşısı. Metalaştırılan değerler karşısında
kendi değerlerini savunma (koruma) ya da durum karşısında kendi
değerlerini yeniden oluşturma sırasındaki zorlu uğraş.
