Yep this is moi. For another project at college I chose the theme face and wanted to produce a portrait of someone. After just drawing a pencil drawing of one person I decided that I should draw a self-portrait because that person kept fidgeting making it harder for me to draw. Also not many people were offering to stay still for a couple of hours. The surface of this painting was made from powder paint applied to a material known as Muslin that was stuck on card. This was to help add texture to the painting to give it some dimension. |
