Amendment that would have established permanent bar on amnesty visas for terrorists voted down

Jihad Watch:
The President's immigration amnesty proposal is absurd and destructive in numerous ways. Here, one attempt to head off some of the immense damage it would do to the United States was voted down. The Cornyn Amendment, which would have established "a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals," lost in the Senate, 51-46. Michelle Malkin has a list of the senators who voted nay.
McCain is among them. I urge anyone reading this never to vote for McCain. He's a national hero, and was once a very brave man, but every man has a breaking point, and a price.
