GALGALDO
2-3 players; materials (7 sticks)
how to play:
1.a. Hold 7 sticks with your palm facing up. Throw sticks upward, flip your hand and try to catch 7 sticks with the back of your hand.
2.a. Throw sticks upward again, flip hand to catch sticks with palm but let go 1 stick thus catching only 6 sticks.
3.a. Repeat same routine decreasing the number of stick to catch each round.
NOTE: player who fails to catch the right amount of stick will loose the game thus passing the sticks to the next player.
Task B (SIKMAT)
1.b. Same step with 1.a.
2.b Throw sticks upward, catch sticks while palm facing downward (don't flip hand), it's called a sikmat.
3.b. See 3.a
1.c. Let all sticks stand supporting it with one hand. Using pointing finger of the other hand, press down one stick. Let go all sticks except the one pressed by the finger.
2.c. using the only standing stick, carefully pick sticks one by one. The rule is while picky up one stick, don't let remaining stick move else you will loose your game thus passing the game to the next player. You can continuer your game on your next round, starting at the task where you were ousted.
The first player to complete all the task is the winner.
SHATONG
2 players; materials (2 sticks - one stick is 3x shorter than the other one-; 2 stones as a base); eye goggle
how to play
TASK A (SIKWIT)
1.a. Arrange short stick on top of the base. On player will use the longer stick to "SIKWIT" (shoktong I cant think of an English term for this) as far as possible.
2.a. The off player try to catch the flying stick. If he can, he will have his turn else....
3.a. player arrange the longer stick on the base. The off player will try then to hit the longer stick with the shorter one form the place where it landed. If the OFF player can hit the stick the game will be passed to him else...
TASK B (PAKPAK)
1.b. Place the shorter stick on top of the base.
2.b. using the longer stick, player will SIKWIT upward the smaller stick then while it is on the air player will bat the shorter stick as far as he can.
3.b. see 2.a.
4.b. Use the longer stick to measure the distance from the base to where the shorter stick landed.
NOTE: before the game, players will agree on how many stick counts should then reach. Say 100 for example. The first one to reach 100 counts is the winner.
PUNISHMENT: While holding sticks one in each hand, winner will bat the shorter stick as far as he can. Loser then will shout SHAAATONG.... while running from he base to where to stick landed. If he take a breath before reaching the destination then back to the beginning of the punishment else he will have the chance to play first on the next round.
TATSING LATA
It's the famous "tumbang preso" with the annoying "gupgupey alupeypey" kantiyaw. Ala no ilan you iman ay maluplupey han an-ak you hakayot agin dudundon ken daida ta adi da maokos.
GALATTING
Players (must be in pairs); as many as can be. Every player carry their respective pair who have to extend their legs through out the game and until they will be ousted. Every participant try to outbalance their opponents. The last pair standing are the winners.
JOLENSTIK
Player try to roll and shoot marbles to the hole till they reach the 7th hole. Player who reach the 7th hole FIRST is the winner.
